Description: Perfect in every way. Well, Lithe build, slight swagger to his walk, always seeming a bit cocky with a small amused smile on his face. Burgandy is very down to earth, but easily amused. Also thinks he's amusing, though other people tend to disagree with him about that. Doesn't speak a lot unless he's really comfortable with the people, or has an opinion and wants to share it.

 

Burgandy has a high code of morals, and he treats others how they choose to treat him.

 

History: A merchant guard for hire, Burgandy is hired by only the richest merchants who can afford his business. Known for his incredible skill with the sword and bow, he's come through a number of scrapes, and has never lost a client yet. In his old age and riches, he retired some years ago and relaxed to the comfortable life of luxury and laziness.

 

Many of his most profitable trading happened in the contested area's, and as such, he spent much time escorting Caravans to the Aiel Waste, and has much respect for them. He has also gone from end to end of the Borderlands, and traded in ever capital city in the known world. He has come to loath Tairens and Illianer's for their petty squabbles with each other, and is wanted by the Children of the Light for protecting a caravan from a raid made by them once, and he will no longer spend time in Amador.

 

Over the years Burgandy had built up a rather considerable private library, as he quite enjoys reading, and is quite knowledgable about the world around him. He has fought trollocs and knows them to be real, escorted several clients to various steddings

 

Before he was a merchant guard though, Burgandy served in the Whiskey Jack's Bridgeburner company under the command of Coltaine himself during the Aiel war before the company was destroyed almost to the man during the Blood Snow.

 

He has grown bored of being a merchant guard though, and hungers for battle and the life of a soldier once more. After hearing about the Legion of the Dragon, more specifically the Band of the Red Hand. Out of practice and out of shape, Burgandy collected his old armour, sword and bow, sealed up his estate and set out in search of adventure.
