No, not at all.  It was too late for you to do it, though I was getting suspicious of Hybrid.  There was a post where he was saying that it would be easier to counter-claim the vig role instead of the Healer role.  I was beginning to think he was trying to cover his butt or try to get someone else to fake claim the Vig role.  

 

I gotta say Cosmic, you were the one in the 5 remaining that I didn't have my suspiciouns about.  I've played with Danya, Hybrid, Verbal and Tigs before, but not you or Lore.  Lore I wasn't sure about either, which left Tigs, Danya, and Verbal.  Funny how Tigs was the biggest blip on my radar.  

 

I actually thought Verbal was the healer, when his first post (one of very few this game) after the Night 2 results hinted that he assumed that the healer blocked the mafia night kill.  I took that to be a hint that he was the Healer.  It wasn't until Hybrid revealed uncontested as the Healer that I started re-reading Verbal.  That's when I knew he was one of them.

 

Yeah, and what KILLS ME is that Hybrid was ONLINE!!!!  He was reading Christmas Mafia but then when the panic button was hit, he disappeared!

Incidentally, Mynd and Tigs, I've noticed you on mafiascum.net. They're very good over there, but a little intense.  :D

Yeah, they are quoting all sorts of mafia bible stuff and FOS: here and there.  I couldn't resist stirring the pot in my newbie game there, but its more fun to play here or on MyndJack.  Mafiascum is very impersonal and the text is harder to read.  Here and at MJ, its more like family.

 

Was it Danya or Lore?  Im dying to know.

I don't think it's over yet though.  Depends on how Barm does it of course, but let me point out that it's 3 innocents vs. 3 mafia, and we still have the Healer and Assassin.  So, theoretically if the game ain't over yet, if Mynd kills the right person and I heal the right person tonight, it's 3 innocents vs. 2 mafia.  Oops.  LOL.

 

Cosmic, I don't have a mafiascum account, but I've read some of the threads.  It is a little impersonal, and it's quite hectic too.  I think I'll stick with DM and MJ.

Funny, I was on cosmic's case early on, and we both pointed out Verbal laying low later.  Argh!  Danya, why did you unvote me if you were mafia?  All Verbal and Cosmic had to do was throw down the hammer and it was really over.

Ya know, I have to apologize here because I can't seem to find where exactly Barm said that he wouldn't count any votes beyond a majority.   Ya know, Hybrid could unvote and vote Verbal right now......it might still count since Barm hasn't been on.  Interesting.....

How soon they forget. I was in the newbie game you so royally hijacked. You were an innocent, but acted so scummy you obscured the evils. This is the first game I've played since then. It tooks months for my blood pressure to return to normal.  :D

On the other hand, I guess I shouldn't be surprised, Mynd, since you're always confusing me with all the other "L" sisters. And my name doesn't rhyme with Purina, btw.  ;D

 

For the record, I didn't vote before I left to go shopping because I wanted to vote CP, but you seemed very pro-CP. I was afraid if I voted him, you would overreact and the Evils would be able to turn the vote back on me. I HAD to go Christmas shopping and I couldn't stay here in case I had to defend myself, so I decided to wait and vote closer to the deadline. Deadlines are important parts to the strategy because they affect the timing.

I have never played in a game where the mod calls a lynch before the deadline is reached. Barm said that when the deadline arrived, he would lynch whoever had the most votes, even if it wasn't a majority. I don't see where he said anything about calling the lynch as soon as a majority was reached, regardless of the deadline.

Moderators end phases sometimes with majorities to speed the game along.  It happens all the time.

 

Mynd was talking about the game being over, and Pandy then outed me by saying I sent him a frantic PM.  At this point, it is almost unfair to continue the game, but that is obviously up to Barm.  I sent him a PM saying that we had a majority and he didn't come in and end the game.  Maybe he was busy, maybe he wanted to see what would happen.  Either way, if we win - great, good game everybody.  If we lose - great, good game everybody.  Special props to Mynd for playing an excellent game.

 

Within a game, I don't bother getting worked up about somebody's post.....it's part of the game.  But I don't consider the game still going, so I'm gonna say that post was a little rude.

Verbal, I did point out before this whole incident that if I was mod, I wouldn't end it until the night phase is over, because with our NK and heal, we still have a chance even if the numbers are even today.  I don't know how Barm's going to handle it, though, so we'll see.

Actually, it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular. You know, several other people in this game at odd times have made similar remarks, why pick on me?

However, to answer your question, yes I am assuming that today you are "hanging" over a mafia game, and today, that means you had nothing better to do, so where am I wrong? If that is crap or you read something else into it, well, so sorry for you.

Thanks everyone, this was a real brain-teaser, even though the game isn't officially over.  (Hybrid, just to be safe, please vote Verbal one more time in green.  I think you were supposed to vote red after your green unvote, and Loreina's red vote means you need to vote verbal green now.)  Anyways, this turned out to be more fun than Suras (sorry DPR). 

 

I finally had Verbal pegged when Hybrid revealed as the Healer.  Again, never assume....but when he made the post about how he anticipated that the mafia would try to kill me and he hoped the healer would have healed me, I read that as his way of hinting to us that he was the healer.  When I reread after Hybrid's reveal, it was that post that clinched it for me.  For Verbal to be so absent in posting this game, he certainally had been paying attention.

 

I have to say again, Cosmic Panda was the furthest from my mafia radar.  He was friend to no one in this game, and being sick was pretty believable in that he seemed also absent fromt the Suras game.  His posts made sound arguements and I really took him as one of the two remaining roleless innocents.

 

Loreina, you made this game a lot more interesting and had my mind twisted in knots.  You came up with some pretty off the wall theories that even I thought were extreme, but I like that!  Keep that cranium a crankin, but maybe next time, try to consider all the angles.  I think that once you made up your mind that I was mafia, it was hard for you to consider anything else.  Cosmic Panda's harsh response to one of your theories led me to conclude that you two were not on the same team.  One of you could have been mafia, or you both could have been innocent, but you couldn't possibly have been mafia together.

 

Hybrid, I had you pegged for mafia until your reveal.  Its funny because right now I can't even remember what had me thinking you mafia, because your healer reveal seems so long ago.  There was this little voice inside of me that kept me thinking that you might have been faking and the real healer, Cosmic Panda, was gonna be gone just long enough for you all to clinch the lynch.

 

And Tigs....for the love of Kivam's Gambit, why?!?! Why did you act so dang scummish? I was waiting for your defense, your comeback, your "Danya and Lore are full of it" response, but you gave us nothing!  You are so lucky to have made it even this far, but even the Mafia were thinking you might be scum.  Please, next time you are a roleless innocent, at least try to help us win, mmmkay?

 

Danya, I had my eye on you from the beginning, but it wasn't until after you dropped the campaign against me and began to cooperate that I truly became suspicious.  You were pretty safe on Day 1 because you didn't vote like normal; however, there seemed to be an underlying test to see if a lynch on me would work throughout the game.  Not that that made you look mafia, but when you suddenly stopped, that set me off.  Honestly though, I wasn't sure about you until endgame.  It came down to either you or Lore when CP revealed as mafia, and again, CP and Lore couldn't be on the same team.

 

Thorum, sorry bro.  My only memory of you was that epic win in the fast mafia game where you produced all these helpful charts and graphs and took over the thread, only to lead us to go exactly where you wanted us to.  I think if you had come back at me a bit harder, I might have second guessed ya...but still, your death was informational more than anything else.

 

Catina....well, you were the Day 1 random lynch.  I actually did think Vemy was mafia though when Catina turned up innocent; and Talya was just cooperating with me way too much.  I probably would not have targeted Talya if she had joined in the Myndrunner is scum campaign.  Go figure. 

 

Lia, I think the pout post had me thinking you mafia.  The "Gosh Golly" post was suspicious, but your reaction afterward really had me thinking mafia.  Sorry, but that's how it is.  I know its tough, but you gotta have a thick skin in these games because people will challenge you at every turn. 

 

So then, it's been a true pleasure folks.  Now, we await Barmy's judgement.  Will he end the day with the lynch on Tigs or will he hear our words and end it now, with the majority on Verbal?
