Gaidal Cain Reborn

This thread is to decide who Gaidal reborn is.  I realize a number of threads have discussed this, yet not as in depth or recently.

 

A number of people suggested Olver.  To me that cannot be for the following reasons::

-Robert Jordan told so.

-The age does not match.

-Birgitte might have recognized if he was.

 

Some suggested Elayne's twins.  That also to me cannot be.  These are my reasons::

-They are born after Birgitte.

-They are/will-be physically less developed than Birgitte.

-A set of Min's viewings tell that Gaidal reborn is both older and younger.  Older in the sense that he was born first.  Younger in the sense of physical development.

Anyone born after Shadow Rising to me can also be ruled out for these same reasons.

 

To me, we have not yet met Gaidal reborn.

From reading the Tel'aran'rhiod scenes between Elayne/Nynaeve & Birgitte, Gaidal reborn was born some time during Shadow Rising which the Encyclopaedia site identifies as Late Spring through Mid Summer of 999; Knife of Dreams they identify as Spring 1000.  So Gaidal reborn is less than one year.

The only pregnancy we know of in that time frame is Malanie's? (or whichever wise one). But likewise I agree we have not seen him yet.

i think Gaidal is just some random child, son to a sofar unkown villager.

Nothing says it has to be at the same time.

Strangely, some were connected to an ugly man who was older than she, and others to an ugly man who was much younger, yet somehow Min knew they were the same man.

I do think it's just some random kid though. Not a character in the story, or even related to one.
