Joining the Kin

Actually the council sashes are also red..but have the distinction of having bells on them!  LOL  You can hear us coming then!!

 

And the Golden Knitting Needle Club is a new honor the Council started earlier this year for our Kinsters!  Once you reach the Red Sash..well points are pretty pointless..LOL  As you can tell from the conversation we don't get to excited about ranks or such..but we wanted to acknowlege and say thanks for the folks who always participate and are involved!  So some of our Kinsters have been awarded the Golden Needle!  They are Ursula..who has two of them by the way..*grins*, Staffy, Leane, Jade, Jhea, Faerilin, Taymist, Danya and the Council members..Lor, Kia, Mo and I!!  Jhea made the cool avatar for us by the way!!!

 

They belong to the Golden Needle Club, have the avatar..and get to participate in one of the exchanges for "free" during the year!  LOL  and there is a tshirt in the works if i ever figure out how to make my computer work...8grumbles*

 

And they also get to plan an activity one month if they want to!  *grins*

That sounds really cool and a really nice way of rewarding activity and participation.  :)  And I know about the bells for council members, it almost makes me hope to someday be on the council, I have this little thing for bells.  I think it comes from being raised with cart horses who had bells on their harnesses, but the sound of bells has always made me smile.

Hmmm, yes well as there is no "Official" point count, I really have no idea, but I think 5 points won't hurt too much.....lol  :D
