Anyone here read Artemis Fowl? I love the series.

 

Book 6 is presently out (the last book  :'( ) but I cant get my hands on it because this stupid country doesn't get it for several weeks after publication in UK/US.

    I read the first two while waiting for one of the WOT books to come out and although I enjoyed the books, I never went back. Looks like I need to.

Third and fourth are the best. They are not as descriptive as WoT of course but they are excellent in their own way- chiefly the intelligent way the plot unravels due to the genius of the main character.

 

Sort of crime/fantasy all mixed up. Quite funny too. Significantly more humour than WoT. I love the books!

I've read the series. It's decent. Very light and fun, but that's expected since it's a "teen/kids" book. What's the latest one out about? If it was released recently I probably haven't read it. Think the last one I read they went to a magic world outside time?

oh oh!! I love Artemis Fowl Books!! They're a good book to read in a few days. I currently only own the last four though.

I just reread the series up to 4 and I have to say, we need to see more of Juliet.

Where have you been looking? I know in Chapters they'd be under young children or fiction. The Time Paradox is still in hardcover...at least that's all they had when I bought my copy.
