I think Taim could be leading us around, but who knows. That PM looks like it could have come from Loki, but then anyine who knows him could also fake it quite well, with a few gramatical and spelling errors.

 

However at this moment I think Halima is the best bet. I would take a guess that he/she is newish to the game and said they were without realising it could have been a ruse. And doesn't quite know how to come and deny it.

I agree with this statement.  Regardless of whether Taim is leading us around, he does have a point with Halima.  And the above quote from Mesaana makes sense as well.  I'm going to vote [glow=green,2,300]Halima[/glow].  Perhaps she'll show up at some point and defend herself.  Perhaps not.

Just posting the obvious on the off chance that someone new was handed the doc/cop role.  Would rather post something redundant than have it not be said and cost the town the game because someone who hadn't played without a coroner before didn't realize how it changes things for the power roles.

 

I'm actually inclined to agree with Mordeth here on the leading around part. I'm not liking it too much either.

 

Hey, I can understand that.  But does anyone have any reason to think I'm mafia (or a symp)?

 

 

Also, I have it as a general rule for myself to never really believe random PM's like the one Taim just gave us there. I know Loki, and I could write like him if I wanted. Tehre's no rule against making stuff up here.

 

Honestly, I don't think I could bring myself to write like that if I tried  ;D

 

But like I said, the only one who will find that PM convincing is the role thief, who knows that they did try to steal my role last night and got nothing.  For everyone else, I could just be making the whole thing up, and they've got to evaluate with that in mind.

Taim made a good point about it being totally pointless to try and gain information from a symp. It could be a rookie mistake but since she hasn't bothered to defend herself, why should we?

 

On a sidenote, the lynch is still going too smoothly for my liking, we won't be gaining any info from it so for the sake of stirring things up I'll pre-vote [glow=pink,2,300]Mesaana[/glow] for being a bit too corrosive when it wasn't really called for.

Guys, I'd be inclined to suggest you vote Mordeth on general principles once you've killed me and Moridin off, but I doubt that anyone but an innocent would be paying so little attention to the game that they still don't get that there won't be any coroner verdict on Halima at all.

 

The sheer "missing it" nature of this post pretty much confirms Mordeth as an innocent, for me.

Frankly, no offense intended, but that's an incredibly dumb reason to vote for anyone.  There are only two reasons for an innocent to vote for anyone (3, if you want to count "day 1 randomness" as a reason):

 

1) To gain information (i.e., to get a reaction and determine alignments and alliances, note defenders and attackers, etc. - something particularly useful in a coroner game); or

 

2) Because you think the player is mafia.

 

You've as much as admitted you don't think I'm mafia and there's no real info to be gained from voting for me right now (since people's positions have been staked out pretty well since yesterday).  So, uh . . . why are you voting for me again?
