HS Competition Winners- March 2008

Howdy once again players, supporters, families and friends!

 

March brought us 2 very competitive individuals beating all the odds and gave all others a wonder shower of dust.

 

First a reminder to the winners:

 

you can exchange your winnings according to the following formula:

 

1 ORG point = 3 Game Points = 5 Lottery Chips

 

The exchange can be done in either direction.

 

Note:

--> if you are happy with the prizes as they are, you don't need to do anything.

the JoTS Competition has been finished and the winner will be announced in the next Edition of the Hornsounder, which will be published soon. 

 

The Sudoku Challenge is continuing to move along, and there was some new competition to DJ. Walking away with the grand prize of Sudoku this month is one member from the archers

 

Snin seized that prize from DJ's masterful mind this month with a undisputed 100%!

Next, we have the Scavenger Hunt Competition:

 

We had a whopping 4 winners in the Scavenger hunt this month. Paladin Uasal, Lady Stef, and Snin all walked out with perfect 20/20 taking the prize home.  Our fourth bander Arrandion got a 19/20 and also earned his prize!

Following we come to the Word Scramble Competition:

 

Unfortunately, there were no entrants in the Word Scramble, so there was no Word Scramble winner this month.

 

This past month brough us a new competition...a word search.  This was brought to us by Snin.  So let's check out the Word Search Competition:

 

This game started well and there was one victor in the challenge.  Arrandion earned that prize this month with a score of 16/20 words found!

For those of you who entered the Scavenger Hunt or the Word Scramble, I did not receive anything with points on it from Talya.  I don't receive any submissions since I don't run that competition.  I don't know who all entered or what the answers even were, so I can't give out points for it until I get an answer about it.  If you have any questions or problems about this event, please PM me. The points for the Comp winners for February have been updated for the Scavenger hunt winnings.

 

In the future, it would be appreciated more if you would PM me with your concerns over points than to post them here berating me about them. I can only give points for what I have and if something is missing we'll try to work it out.  Hounding me won't change things immediately.  So please remember that in the future and if you have issues with points for any HS competition, PM me and we'll discuss it.  Thanks!

And don't worry guys, I'm sure no harm was intended here. DJ's under a LOT of pressure these days and that's been going on for months now and him being the perfectionist that he is must have felt rather bad about this. I know this because I see his resolve in trying to do right by the Hornsounder and all of you every day sometimes to great cost to his own health. I'm sure none of you were trying to berate him though, just pointing out something *nods*

I shouldn't have lashed out like that and for that I'm sorry.  I know you all meant no harm, but I must agree with Myst's perspective, I am a bit of a perfectionist...ok I'm a serious perfectionist. I just want to make things as good as possible for all of you.
