Had subscribed to the Spore newsletter a long time ago and this announcement was the FIRST and ONLY letter sent. :o Came with a link to the site with a small teaser video but no real content.

This game looked so cool, but then it ended up in dev hell, or looked like it did.  Its good to see EA actually do something fun.

Wow, if that release date holds true, That'll be an awesome B-Day gift. ;)

Though, releasing a game on a Sunday Isn't done all that often...
