[POSSIBLE SPOILERS] WoT and Music

This is a subject I often think about. These thoughts do come to me when I dip into the books and read them. But if WoT was ever made into a film, I always think what music I would put with certain scenes. Sadly, I don't have all my WoT books with me, so I can't give any specific examples to start this discussion of, but I was wondering what music you guys would put with the story. Please use any music, whether popular or classic, and give a reasoning why.

I'll start off by suggesting that I think Blind Guardian, a German metal band, would be good start for the music. Some of their previous albums have a strong LotR prescense to them, and I am sure they could do something similar for WoT. I also feel that the varieties of metal would play quite a strong part in the music of WoT, but that is just me.

A couple of things I forgot...

If you do make a suggestion for a scene, please post from which book it comes. Also, depending on how popular this thread gets, I think we can make a BotRH film music score as a possible project.

To me, metal is an absolute nono, I think it would completely ruin the feel of it. As would any more modern music.

I have felt from the start that the only thing that would work is an original score, mostly folkish from Scandinavia and Ireland, but for specific nations other stuff like middle east, Japan etc could be used.

I browsed youtube for a few songs that I think perfectly illustrates what I'm talking about, but so far without any luck.

One thing that could be done is a "theme" song for each of the main characters, mainly the Two Rivers characters. Something from the Cors for Mat, something from Enya for Perrin, .....oooo just thought of the perfict song for the Black Tower, Drowning Pool - Let the Bodies hit the floor, especially during the Domani Wells scene. That would be great lol

It would very much depend on how you envision the movie to be...lol.

If you see it as an animated movie...then I think some good crunch metal would work very well.  But, in a more cinematic approach, a orchestra score would probably hold up best.
