As we move closer to the festive season, I thought it would be a nice idea to see each others' Christmas Trees. So let's see pictures of your Christmas trees!

Below are a couple of pictures of the rather crappy Christmas Tree we have in our house I share with friends up here in London. Please note this is the first tree I have done from scratch!

Picture Number 1

Picture Number 2

When I get home to Wales, I'll get a picture of my parent's tree, which will be 100% better!

Oh Corki.... What on earth are we gonna do with ya lol.... It's not even a real tree lol

It's better than ours, considering we're not even putting one up this year!  We're spending Christmas up in San Francisco at my sister's house, and not planning to have anybody over to our place so we decided we didn't want to bother with decor or cleanup this year!  Bah, Humbug!!!  lol.  I'll get into the Christmas spirit once I get up to San Francisco in another week or so!

I know it's not real. :( Sadly, I wasn't able to find any at a price a poor student could afford. So an artifical one had to do. Plus it doesn't drop its needles and need watering!  ;D

Don't worry about it Corki lol. I know how expensive they can be in England. One of my most memorable Christmas was in 1986. We lived in Aberdeen at the time in a 3 story townhouse. The ceiling of the first floor was about 4 meters... yup that high lol. Anyway dad decided to go all out that year and we ended up with a 3+ meter tree. It was HUGE and REAL lol. Think dad paid about 150 quid for the thing lol. Back then that was about $300.

Hey, I swear by the artificial tree!  We have one that actually looks pretty real and let me tell ya, not having to 1. water it, B. put new lights on it every year, and third. clean up after it, makes it worth not having a fresh tree scent!  Besides, you can always light a candle if you want that pine scent!  ;D

My current flat is rather small and we got 2 cats who love to destroy/eat any living plant. (even when I buy roses for my girlfriend they try to eat them, they even killed a cactus LOL). So no live tree this year, we got only an "artificial christmas ball" hanging from the celing.  ;D

Must admit I love the smell of a real tree but my word the mess!!! And pine needles in bare feet is a little uncomfortable... ;D

So yeah, artifical tree for me and with a demolition kitty to contend with, not sure where I'm gonna put it this year lol.

Real tree, always.  We go find one, Cut it, put it up, decorate it, water it, watch the kids dog and cat destroy it, undecorate it, pull it down, then burn it with all the wrapping paper!  And the pine needles are left on the floor to TRY and keep the kids away from the thing!!  much like a mine field.
