Killing him?

In CoS when Rand gets slashed with Fain's dagger they bring him back to the palace.  When he wakes up he hears Min yelling "you'll kill him.  I won't let you kill him!", and she had been crying.  Even Alanna was worried, and tried to sooth Rand's fear as he is waking up.  What was that all about?  Who was going to kill him?  Last I looked they were just watching him rest hoping Flinn's work would help heal him.

She was just spazzing when everyone was trying to figure out a way to heal Rand not knowing if the healing would do more harm than good, which is understandable...this is as far as I remember havnt read CoS in a year or two

I think it was because the Ashaman had come to his bedside to wake him up.  Adley had just arrived with the message that the army had reached the hillforts in Illian, which was the signal for Rand to gather Bashere's horsemen and the Legion of the Dragon, and go after Sammael.

Yes, though of course no one aside from Rand knew why Adley was there, Min included. She was just reacting to them trying to awaken Rand, as he hadn't been awake, at least not long enough for him to have a memory of it, for awhile and she no doubt believed he needed more time recovering from his wounds. Which he did.

 

That's all it was, I believe, the Asha'man insisting in awakening him and everybody else believing him to need much more rest.

Oh oh oh ok!  That explains why the wise ones and the Aes Sedai were having their little showdown with the Ashamen across the bed then...  I always wondered what that was all about.  Thanks guys!
