Weave revealed in KOD - One of the "new" weaves?

Just got my new copy of EoTW (my old one broke...damn spine)....and during the re-read I thought about the coins Moraine gives the 3 lads to keep track of them. In KOD, Elayne uses the "finder" weave, which she placed on Hark when he was watching Daved Hanlon for her. In KOD(don't have my books w/me), it states the finder can be attached to metal forever, and onto clothes for a few days.

 

Was this "finder weave" one of the new weaves learned from the Forsaken? Or was it possible that Moraine didn't know this weave, and had to rely on the coins in EoTW? Any thoughts??

Might be a Moiraine secret, a Blue Ajah secret, something that is generally known but not used that often...

I always assumed she put a finder on the coins, she only lost them when they lost their coins.

I am thinking the only "new" weaves used in KoD were from LTT the Death Gates, Fireblossoms and Firearrows ... but they were from Age of Legends.

 

I think those were the only new ones discovered in KoD as far as my memory goes.

Yeah, we knew about the Finder weave, just that none of the characters had given it an official name yet.
