Ok. This is my first post. first of many I hope :). I from Sri Lanka and started reading WOT few months ago.(pretty hard to get the books here in Sri Lanka) Just finishing the The Shadow Rising. Heard about RJs passing few days ago. I could not believe the effect the news had on me. I felt like loosing someone close to me.(I suppose he is actually).

 

Anyway hope to have a grand time here :) looking forward to someone pointing out some dos and donts around here

Welcome to Dragonmount. The news of RJ's passing also hit me hard, I regret that I never went to one of his signings to thank him in person for his work.

Come check out the Wolfkin Org. We are the Nature and Party Org of Dragon Mount. Any pictures you have of your country would be ooo'd and aww'd over. Alot of people post pictures thay have taken outside where they live.

Welcome Shamila! We are thrilled to have you join us! Yes, RJ's passing affected us all. That is why it is so great to have a place like DM to come and share with others who also appreciated his work.

 

So dos and don'ts, huh? Well do come and check out the Band of the Red Hand. We are DM's music and travel ORG, but we have a lot of fun with brews and brawls as well. We would love to have you join us! And don'ts...........well, don't be afraid to ask questions. Oh, and don't leave!

RJ's passing was sad, but it is down to us, his fans, to make sure his name and works continue for future readers to enjoy.

 

As for what to do, take us Staf's offer of looking at the Band of the Red Hand ORG! As mentioned, we are DM's very own music and travel ORG, but do so much more, like gamble, brawl, drink Brew, play our dice-based ORG Game and beat each other up, and lots of other fun things. We're the place to be at here, and if you join up, you'll be on the path to greatness. Plus we have a Sri Lankan amongst our members as well, though sadly she isn't that active at the moment.

 

But whatever you do at DM, have fun! :)
