Hi! I guess i should start with when i started reading WOT, well my brother has been reading them for awhile and last christmas i just sorta picked them up. Anyway I'm now done with all 11 books out and am eagerly awaiting book 12. Hope to see y'all round!

There are three different parts to the community here. No matter what you're looking for though, the people here are awesome.  The book discussion boards are great if you love to hash out theories with other WoT fans. Then there are the Orgs, which are great places to hang out and have fun.

 

If you're at all interested in role-playing, there's a thriving RP community here as well.  For roleplaying, I'd suggest starting off by reading this post: http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/topic,354.0.html  That covers the basics and will give you an idea of where to begin.

 

Next you'll want to get an idea of the kind of character you'll want to play. Just about every group of people on Randland are represented in some way. When you have an idea of the kind of character you'll want to play, you'll need to come up with a character bio and have it approved for play. After that, just find your way to the Div boards for your chosen Division and begin to join in on the fun as you await for your bio to be approved and to be assigned a mentor

 

But no matter what you decide to do with your time here at DM, I hope you enjoy yourself. And once again, welcome aboard. :)

welcome ...yes really good books..has had my deal of waiting as well as i picked them up earlier and have several times had to twin tumbs patiently...was through info search on when to expect the next book i found my way here (think its the story of a whole lot of us), and well 3 years later i am still here..feeding my need to flesh out the story by RPing...its great
