I'm reading LoC at present and this time around have taken a particular interest in the Forsaken as for the last 3 reads of the series i've always focussed on the main 'good' characters.

I just read Sammael's POV when meeting with Graendal, at the time in the story where Rand has his army massed ready to strike at Illian, and Mat has just set off with the Band marching towards the city also.

The section mentions that Graendal, before becoming known as Graendal the forsaken was basically a revered psychologist, and I wondered if we had found out what the others used to be before being one of the Chosen became a full time job?

Ishy was a philosopher, the most prominent of his time.

Meesana was a teacher, she wanted to be a researcher, but was told she was unfit for such position.

Semirhage was a healer.

Be'lal was a lawyer.

Lanfear was apparently some kind of researcher.

Those I remember on top of my head.

It should be noted that Demandred's career followeed Lews Therin's for much of his life. He began as a politician, and only later discovered an affinity for war.

But yeah, as oosquaiadict says... the best source is the BWB, though for online resources the encylopaedia WoT serves well.

Followed is the key-word here. He has the same curriculum as LTT, just everything a little later/lower/lesser. That's why he turned to the Dark Side
