It may not have followed the books exactly, but it was still a damn good show and followed close enough to make an amazing show... I'm so angry that they once again took something good and then cancelled it...

Hard agree, simply said. Yes, lots of discussion on the existing threads that's worth catching up on the various reactions people (almost all book-readers) have had. I'm very disappointed it was cancelled too.
