Due to speculation on the game thread, I want to make it clear that there are no hints as to any player's alignment given in my posts. Roles and alignment are chosen at random and for the game to run well, they are protected by both the mod and the rules of the game. When I suggest that you listen to Alys, it is because she offers interesting insight into the game, and experienced insight at that.  If you are lucky, some of the other experienced players may make an appearance and you should listen to them as well.  You can always ask questions on this thread if there is confusion over any point.  Now go lynch somebody.

*primps and preens* o.k. so he won't admit if sinister is evil or not, but what he is doing is advising against bumrushing someone on bad grounds. and that's smart no matter who you are.

 

Dsage, if your vote isn't on the basis of his name, you need to articulate why you think it's him. Give everyone something.

 

Get a lynch quickly. Take the non random path and choooooose one of those to die.

 

Dsage has been acting oddly, so I agree with Kivam. It's worth the gamble to vote him out.

Dsage, I am pretty certain that his response is the same reason that he has never joined in before. I have invited Sin to join our game probably about 50 times. He has always refused because he knew he would be one of the first to die because of his name. Just to point out, I do not protect him as a friend. I protect him as a player that didn't have anyone see past the name or the personality that he has always had. This is the reason the dude nearly gave up. If anyone remembers back to our first games, he was always one of the first to go for similar reasons. Only been evil once and yet, I think he's only seen the end of one single game. Ever.

 

Again, this game is supposed to be fun, so make a semblance of a reason when you post your vote because there are real people on the other end of the user account. They can be persuaded and hurt and annoyed. Maybe pissed is the word. ;)

I am pretty certain the rules say anyone can be a thief... I will post it.  A Play: A Play will be an individual challenge assigned to a player by the Mod throughout the game. You may be contacted and told that you have the opportunity to steal a piece of bonestone. You would then PM the mod and let them know who you would like to steal it from (you are guessing that they have it). Then, to pull this off, you have to get them to post immediately after you. Then you and they will be notified that possession of the bonestone has transferred.

Mod clarification - The Thief Play is a slang name for "A Play", as described in the rules that Alys has copied and posted above. Any player can be a thief, innocent or assassin, alignment makes no difference. The only qualification is that I PM you to notify you that you have been choen to be a thief. Once that status is issued, you are a thief for the rest of the game.  The Thief Play is not a night action and can take place day and night.

You'd figure they'd avoid it because they'd be all on their lonesome and it would change alignments for everyone else. and that would make it harder to pull out a win. Right? Because I am not entirely certain.

Mod Clarification - Sam's involement was spotaneous on Sam's part as he is the creator of the Neitaren Commonwealth. However, to be fair to everyone else, Sam is not involved in any of the game planning and is a player like everybody else. Party on.

I know that you are confirmed innocent. That's the point. Unless you would rather be night killed above anyone else, but you are making it sound like... you have insider information. Letting that out could be dangerous.
