Thanks Jafael, and Lilli, I prefer apple or pear brandy, although I suppose plum liqour is fine too. I'd reccomend a japanese plum wine for maximum hilarity. Nothing is quite so fun as not being aware of the fact your are completely bombed.

O... M... G... <-- Fanboy action. I'm avoiding the new episodes because I've only seen up through Season 2 episode 20. I don't want to be too lost(har har) if I try to watch now. I should be caught up by either next week or the week after.

 

If you want a good american whiskey that isn't an arm and a leg, check out Laird's Applejack, if irish is more you thing I prefer Jameson Red or Bushmills. My other nightcaps of choice are Belle de (something french) Pear brandy, and a great local raspberry brandy made from mead. Both are very sweet though so I serve with dessert. Port makes another great dessert drink. All time favorite liqour though goes to Oban 21yr freakishly good but damned expensive.
