Speaking of unfaithful adaptations that ignored the source material, make up entirely new plots stories vaguely set in the same world, and changed characters backstory/motivations, etc.

That could be tear, and could solve all the issues of where they are filming.

The stuff about aiel being at falme, is that domething confirmed, or speculated?

We haven't heard anything about Tear, yet.

The only thing we know about Aiel being at Falme comes from piecing together the things Rafe says in the video.  And there are multiple possibilities about what they mean, taken together.

 

Rafe says Aviendha (he doesn't mention any other Aiel with her) is in a fight scene being filmed right around the corner, and that the surrounding scenery is depicting Falme.

 

The show could be eliminating Tear as a location entirely, and combining events there and in Falme as happening all at once.  Which is where the issue about the Fingers of the Dragon (which we've already seen) looking nothing like the Moroccan desert comes in.

 

They could keep Tear as a location, but film it in Morocco in order to save money.  Which would cause problems later, as Falme doesn't reappear in the story, while Tear is used over and over.  They could just be filming interiors for Tear right now, with exteriors either being ignored or CGI'd for now.

Did he say it like that? I just remember him saying at the end of the video that "We are going to Falme" as a teaser for S2.

He made a vague gesture that seemed to indicate the set nearby is Falme, but it could mean anything. It's possible they're also filming Tear but they're keeping it under wraps for now because they want it to be a surprise. Or they could be saving Tear for season 3 and merging plots in a way we're not expecting.

Whatever they do, I'm sure it will be unexpected...
