[MUSIC] Favourite Music Radio Stations

So, what music stations on the radio do you listen to and why? This is just to see what variety of stations we listen to. Also state the genre of the music of the station (if there is one). Give a link to the station (if you can fine one) so maybe we could have a quick listen online.

I'll start off with the two main radio stations I listen to.

BBC Radio 1 (Just about everything)

You can sometimes find me tuned into this station in the evenings so I have background noice as I work. The fact it offers a wide range of music genres is great, so I can dabble and listen to what I want to listen to.

Wyvern FM (Current music & some old classics)

This is the main popular music station for the area back where I live in Wales, covering the Herefordshire and Worcestershire area. A good choice of different programmes is available with current and classic songs, so you can listen to what you want. There is one similar for the London area, but I haven't found it yet. Oh, and you've got to love the adverts! :D

Other non-music stations I listen to are:

- BBC Radio 4 for the news and comedy programmes around 6:30pm (like Just a Minute)

- BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra for the sport coverage, whether it be rugby, football or cricket

Real Radio

(mix of everything, lot of 80's and modern stuff too)

You have to listen to the Real Wind Up with Robin & Cat... its the funniest thing ever. The best one was when they phoned the White House and pretended to be Strathclyde Police trying to give President Bush a speeding ticket for speeding on the M8 rofl.
