Is there any way to change the user name, but still have the same account, like we could in the old dragonmount.

I don't think the new php allows for that... I think The only way is for an Admin, Aka kat, jason, fader? to change it for you.. But sometimes thats not always possible..

I think the only way for a username to be changed in phpBB is by the admins of the board. I've never seen a phpBB site that allow members to change their own username.
