Hey, Scruffington?

Do you have anyone so far that you find towny? Or scummy? You're not locked in any way to reads you make now, I just want to know a little bit about how you feel about people. Can be one person or all of them.

This is good questioning, I like to see the slots intermingle and blend and connect etc, so sooh interacting with scruff in any way is positive to me.
It feels a little forced to me, but it might just be because she has been so sassy to responding to others and now has a neutering feel in the post above to Scruff xD

I would love to get some thoughts from Scruff, so I'm glad for the questions.

For someone playing on a new site having everyone attacking him, it might be good to ask more neutral questions in case he's a villager. Otherwise it's easy to just give up and say whatever to the whole game. It's not his site. We're not his close friends. He's got nothing to lose by peacing out if he's a villager. So what if people he doesn't know doesn't like his play.

If he's mafia, well, you'll catch more flies with honey. There's no way a wolf in a poor position from the word go is going to spew anything.

Generally the difference in my play is as such:

- People say things to me/about me which sounds like misrepping - claws out

- Assessing people, trying to make them talk in order to form an opinion - sugar and sweet

At least that's how I think about it myself, but Cory knows more about how I play than I do myself, so you can ask him.

All of this is find and all, but that doesn't excuse their actions. I didn't see it as an attack at all, all of us want to see what's going through their head. If they are villagers then they should understand how shady randomly voting and trying to brush it off is.

You freak out over someone claiming to be a sailor scout (not even a role), but don't find someone random voting as even slightly alarming?

I have no issue with your sassiness, it's your tone change that stood out.

Yeah either Sooh is a villager or she's tailoring her game specifically to fool me XD

What specifically is her village game then? I've never played with her and have no reference point. Maybe you'll answer.

Ugh. Note to self, do not post while in the Grocery store. It does not go through.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with Sooh's "Sassiness". It seemed odd at first, but looking back I think it was a combination of feeling accused right out the gate, and just having gone through that, plus out of game stress. I feel pretty comfy putting her in my town pile for now. Plus, I'm pretty sure I get what she was getting at with her interactions with Clov and Ted Bundy.

Obviously I trust your judgment to come from a pure place, I'm just trying to make sure the boys aren't bouncing off of you to keep themselves clear. Trying to piece it together as more people interact with one another.

It's less her "villager game" and more her approach / what she feels is optimal.

Wolves just tend to do things & react when they feel they are supposed to react, etc. Villager intent is very different; they do what they know, pursue what they are confident in, approach people how they feel the best way to approach them to get a read.

Sooh's approach re: Scruffington is very much in line with how she thinks people should act "optimally" in villagers; be willing to put yourself out there, but don't demotivate people from participating by burying them over ~light things. There are times to be coy and encouraging and times to be aggressive, people you need to handle differently, etc.

That self-validated internal process is one that people forget to do the most as wolves.

More Sooh specifics will come when I've more thoroughly read the thread, I'm not quite ready to start yapping (because when I start, I tend to never shut up afterward XD)

Understandable. I think we'll get more from them soonish (I hope). Honestly, I don't see them ever feeling the need to bounce off me to look clear. They're good enough independently that they can do that on their own if they wanted. At most I expect I'll get something along the game equivalent pat on the head and told to go sit in the corner because I don't need to be figured out.

Linz clearly understands how to function in the prescence of enormous egos

I think there's a lot of good alignment readable content in this thread and tbh I'm pretty excited to dive into it fully when I'm home from work, so idk make sure your angus is peppered to your liking

There's a whole lot of Chris loving himself in that image. NSFW?

I mean... sooh having insta annoyance to a potentially harmful fakeclaim (even if in jest based on a pre-game convo and eventually inconsequential) is pretty believable and not something I'd find concerning. Her having a seperate approach to scruff that is internally consistent with how she thinks in general (more flies with honey) is certainly something I wouldnt mark a "red flag".

I think I read poot pretty decent so once I have everything in context I imagine I can provide more clarity re: her alignment, but does that make sense to you spades?
