My big issue with Fred is that in other villager games he's been a more obvious villager than this one.I

 

I don't know his wolf game to reference whether or not this is all that indicative. Is it because he subbed in with a decent amount of content already on the board and has never felt comfortable? A function of time? A function of interest? I was hoping as he started to gather town reads late day one that he might ramp up and settle into his more prominent villager range, but that never really happened.

 

Is it possible the difference is because he is a wolf and doesn't have that natural fire to figure things out? Wouldn't be the first time someone got tripped up by that

Eh. He was a villager in the champs game which was all strangers to him and had no problem jumping in quickly and posting sharply.

 

I think it's possible he's a villager, but I'm not going to make up excuses for why he isn't as villagery as he's shown he can be before

The claim was recent. While I also believe it, as I've discussed, I have an issue with his timing. If I had a 1x doc I know I'd be using it N1.I

 

What did you like about how he handled the scoobs lynch? I personally didn't like it. His reason was "Scooby doesn't do this as scum". He did, obviously.

 

And I'm giving him no credit for marsh. That lynch was already happening, with or without him.

 

Genuine is good, but specifics please. What made you think he was town to begin with, if that feeling hasn't changed?

He was literally picking at marsh before anyone else was on day one. Made it clear to me that he was his preferred lynch. Don't think he Would do that and then defend Scoobs.

 

Honestly his defense of Scoobs just reminds me of how he tries to defend other players as a villager. Him being wrong is just an unfortunate consequence that happens in this game sometimes

Considering I don't think Cuth realized I'm the IC until d2 it makes sense as to why he didn't save me n1. Not a lot of people picked up on Darthe's claim, so not saving him makes sense too. So if Cuth had protected me N1 it would have been a waste of a 1x shot.

I only brought up the recency of the claim because you mentioned the read was a long standing one. Curious how you got to the point to begin with more than why it stuck.

 

But your point about how he defends people as a villager is a valid one. Did the same thing with lissa last game. He was just wrong here.

Several thoughts i've had while watchign cory and eldrick play pattycake this morning.

 

1)Can mafia choose to to kill?

 

2) I don't like eldrick's line about "i would have to use it on n1 and him not doing so is weird;"  Do you think he's a mafia doctor or lying. If the former, he probably just protects scoobs n1. If the latter why not talk about my question number 1,

 

3) I agree/disagree with cory about the handling of scoobs/marsh if cuth were a wolf. It seems weird to push marsh and hard defend scoobs at eod 1(the marsh pushing was earlier not at eod) but his day 2 handling of marsh seems pretty standard. Also he pushed marsh day 1 relatively early enough that its not like pressure on bros is gonna get them killed.

I slotted Cuth missing most of EOD one as not alignment indicative.

Let me put this a different way: I believe that cuth legitimately and genuinely felt that FC what is more likely to be a villager than a wolf. The truth is FC did not display large amount of alignment indicative behavior in his time in the game. I think sometime when villagers see someone like that get pushed , they get some mental dissonance and not seeing why they are a wolf, mistakenly assume that means they are a villager.

 

That Is my interpretation of his behavior

His read on FC was fueled by his personal knowledge of how FC plays d1

 

His read on marsh was fueled by his personal knowledge of Marsh's Wolf game

 

I don't see him being anything other than a villager
