Brand new Robert Jordan 'very short story' published

Guest Jason

Wired magazine has published a "very short story" by Robert Jordan. It's under six words long. Yes, 6 words. Here's the intro to the article:

We'll be brief: Hemingway once wrote a story in just six words ("For sale: baby shoes, never worn.") and is said to have called it his best work. So we asked sci-fi, fantasy, and horror writers from the realms of books, TV, movies, and games to take a shot themselves.

Here is Robert Jordan's entry: "Heaven falls. Details at eleven."

(Can you believe he came in under 6 words!)

How about you? If you have a 6-word story, share it with us by replying to this news article. What interesting thing can you tell us in only a few words?

Thanks to Mark for sending us the link.

I read about this on another forum of mine; some of those sci fi guys had some great ones.

Here's a few I came up with:

When I cry, you will die.

Where have all the cowboys gone?

I lived, I learned, I conceded.

When my feet itch, I scratch.

My brains! My brains! Zombie time!!

Tick. Tock. Be patient. Vengeance, soon.

The coat rack is mocking me.

Soon the napkins will be mine!

When love happens, you will understand.

The only certainty cannot be proven.

I know why; I'm not telling
