How would it have required more screen time? If they had walked into the Amyrlin Seat instead of Gitara's private quarters? It would not have, at all, in any way. They could have ended the scene the same way with Gitara dying... if they never addressed the scene again because of time restraints, it would never have changed anything. If they ended up with more seasons and more time, then they could always show more...

Does this mean no Faile? From the rumors I guess they will bump Mat's flashbacks and staff beating of G and G to Camelyn.

I think most of us get your point. Most seem to disagree with it though. It wouldnt shock me, I would find it to be stupid and unnecessarily convoluted, but not surprised. Makes me think of the Jon Snow death.. I died, revived, and now my oath to the wall is no longer valid... well, that means no Iron Islander will ever have to serve long at the wall... just walk out into the water with a friend, take a deep breath underwater, have friend drag them to shore, pump the water out, and head back to the island isles.

It made no sense at all, Lan being honorable and taking the blame for some odd reason. At this point I no longer pay attention to Lan he is beyond redemption. I am just rooting for getting to see his head floating in a trolloc cook pot. Anything less wont matter to me.

I think both Nynaeve and Elayne will dress as suldam. The suldam they captured will be Nynaeve's damane, They go in, Elayne puts Egwene's arm thing and walks her out as if Egwene was her damane. Then they can figure out how to get the collar off in their own time.

I kicked a friend out of my house for doing such a thing to my tv. At a GoT watch party, we were cooking out before the show came on and I walk in to see him with my remote changing my settings... wait a sec.. I spent a solid week going through every setting. I used a config disc, and looked up numerous configurations people used online and set several different options to switch between them... and then some dude just picks up my remote and starts setting my tv to his eyesight? I was HOT and not just from the grill.

I am guessing that they will use the suldam as a fake damane and dress as a suldam themselves to enter the kennels to find Egwene. That is when they realize that a suldam should not be able to wear a collar, and the secret is exposed. There were a few things to nitpick. Like someone above said, I thought it was poor writing to have Lan come out with the "I read some where that back in the age of legends they could tie off weaves".... just a silly thing to say. He could have said "Verin said she read some where..." and it would have made much more sense just by adding a few words. I am really curious if Moiraine's sister will now expose Liandrin or if she will stay out of Aes Sedai business. Liandrin should be getting exposed really soon.

Best episode of the series in my opinion. I liked everything except for the "tea". I also wanted to see more of Mat's visions, but maybe there will be more next week. I saw on the preview someone said "we are all legends of different ages" or something like that. So hopefully we get to see Mat's hero age.

I am so freaking glad Moiraine's sister is NOT a dark friend. I am proud of her accomplishments in some silly kind of way and I did not want them to be lessened because of her being a DF.

Lan broke down like Chunk in the Goonies.... I WILL TELL YOU EVERYTHING! When I was 8 years old I went to the movies with a fake bag of puke.... ah, when I was 14 I.... they cannot possibly make him any worse than he already is.

It is truly an issue that the writing has been subpar to the point that we have to debate whether it is a continuity issue from bad writing, or intentional.... You just cant defend that kind of issue.

At this point, anything less than seeing Lan's head floating at the top of a trolloc cook pot will be unsatisfying to me. I hate Lan and want to see him dying in the most horrible, demented way possible.

eh, I wasnt crazy about this episode but I liked it because it has a lot of build up for what I believe is going to be an excellent episode next week. Dont like Mat hiding from Rand. In the bonus they are talking about Mat feeling guilty for leaving at the waygate and so glad to be back with Rand, then he doesnt show up? I am confident he will be there and he will blow the horn, but come on, stop making my boy Mat look so bad. Another Lan loss. Held by the power and brow beaten and gives up the biggest secret in Randland. Lanfear was the winner of this episode.
