  1. Yeah, no active Blues right now, but I can think of at least 3 N&A who are going Blue. And the one of them shouldn't take long..... if she can avoid further collateral damage to the Tower... :)

  2. Jade, so far, is the only non-Red (She's the Cappy-General). Since the Reds are first, we get first choice. The others will have their chance after the Reds are done the initial swoop. *nod nod*

  3. Tig grinned a bit as he slipped a shield between Darial and the Source. So this one has a temper, does he? That can be a great strength or a great weakness. With great interest, he watched the boy's face nearly turn beet red with anger.

"You were trying to trick me."

"Why yes, yes I was. The Fortress is rather dull and I needed some form of entertainment. And just so you know, trying to channel at a Dreadlord unbidden like that, it's against the rules. The Peace of the Shadow rests over the Fortress. That means, no one here tries to hurt another unless they have a suicide wish. Got it?" Tig waited for some form of acknowledgement before continuing on.

"Now, since you've been introduced to all the necessary places, I suppose you should scurry off and get some shut-eye. Tomorrow we have a big day of saidin lessons. Right after the morning meal, meet me outside the front door into the courtyard and come prepared."

OOC: Just post your evening thoughts and then end off meeting me the next day and we'll continue on with lessons. ;)

  4. The events that happened to suddenly after he returned from delivering the message were quite shocking to Ikki. The Storm Leader wanted oaths? He couldn't say it was a bad idea. After all, the Dragon was really the main purpose of the Black Tower. But he couldn't say it was a good idea, either. If the Black Tower was supposed to belong to the Dragon Reborn, why bother with a special oath...unless there were those who were branching off. That would explain a few things.

"I, Ikkiliad sur Paendrag, formerly of Mayene, do hereby swear my life and my very soul to the Lord Dragon Reborn, that under the Light, I may serve him in whatever he requires of me until I die or Tarmon Gai'don has been won."

  5. Jasmyne fidgitted with her skirts in her room. She was nervous and that was a rare thing. She only got nervous around people with more authority than she, which right now numbered less than a half dozen. The bad part, 3 of them were at this meeting.

Calming herself, she began to get ready. Her dress was a very traditional Cairheinin high court style, minus the strips, in a very rich red. The embroidery was of course thread-of-gold and plenty of it. Then she gathered up her train of hair and braided it all, then coiled it up into a large bun on the back of her head and held there with a pair of jeweled sticks. To top it off, she added large firedrop earings, several jeweled rings, and a ruby necklace to her appearal. And to top it off, she wove a diamond kesiera into her hair and it dangled just above her eyebrows. Jasmyne loved extravagence.

She scurried off to the metting room and went in just before Jagen, the other new Sitter. She took a seat and avoided direct eye contact with the Highest. Frankly, she thought the woman mad, but then again, she served the Dark one. Who was she to judge madness?

  6. I'll be there! ^_^

    Jasmyne Ceres:

86; Cairheinin; long dark, loosely curly hair that hasn't been cut in 50 years, so it's rather lengthy; pale skin, 4'3"; quite pretty; overly flambouyant in her styles.

Personality: She's very short tempered and likes to be in control. She will act however she has to to get what she wants, as her former MoN would know rather well. She tends to have issues with authority and hates to be given orders.

History: Jasmyne grew up as a maid in the Sun Palace and was usually in very high standing as her mother was the head maid. When her mother retired, she left because she no longer got the power to boss the others around. Se went to the Tower to gain an even bigger power and was found to be able to channel.

As an N&A, she had a horrible time being submissive and as a novice, she went to the MoN every day for years. By some miracle, she made it to Accepted and an incident there caused her to turn to the Dark One.

She chose the Red by process of elimination, but had it not been for a certain novice, she would have gone Green. From then on, she spent a lot of time hunting men who could channel and if it was possible, she would sent them off to be trained as dreadlords.

Shortly after Shevara was raised, she was chosen as a Sitter due to some brilliant acting on her part.  She is not opposed to bonding men, as she has no problem with them as to her, an Asha'man is even better than a plain old Warder.

  7. Ikki stood on guard by the door. He didn't like this country much, but he was on duty for the Lord Dragon, so personal preferance had to be put aside. He heard footsteps coming down a corridor and both he and the other Asha'man with him embraced the Source. As the footsteps got closer, he saw that it was a Storm Leader with some Asha'man. He let the Source go in releif. He didn't want to battle. Once he was nearly thee, he recoginized it to be Storm Leader Covai. A small grin crossed his lips as he saluted his superior officer.

"Yes, Storm Leader, he is. I'll bring you to his waiting room and notify him immediately."

With a nod to his companion, he opened the door and led the troup down a few halls and then into a large room where they were to be held. "Please wait here." Ikki took off out the door they entered from and went to notify the Lord Dragon.

    Basic Information

    Name: Nesyer Yoshan

    Age: 15

    Nationality: Saldaean-Andoran

    Appearance

Hair: Blackish-Silver (she greyed early due to shock)

    Eyes: Storm Gray

    Skin: Coppery

    Height: 5’8

    Voice: High Alto

Other: Birthmark, a circle around her left eye.

Nesyer is taller than her cousins Wilemi and Nenen, but shorter than her grandmother Estean. Saldaean blood is more evident in her than in her cousins Wilemi and Nenen, and almost as evident as in her brother Seyneru.

She resembles Estean in the sense that she has black hair, raven as the night, and absorbs all light, especially in night, and her face shape is exactly the same, oval and pale. Her eyes however, are the blue of the sea, with a tinge of green. This is the only Andoran feature that she has. She has a slight build. Less than Nenen, but much more than Wilemi

    Personality

Nesyer smiles often, but it can vanish abruptly when something irritates her, whether immensely or little. She usually has good self control over her emotions. However, when the error is immense, she gives the person what for with the full range of her temper, which can be frightening.

She has good self control over the One Power, refusing to be overly reliant, always doing things as much as possible without it. This thus means that her will is very strong. It is not as prominent as Nenen's, but in her own quieter way, she is more resilant and less likely to give in to emotion.

Nesyer is a girl with talent for trouble, especially when she gets into some serious scheming to achieve her aims, and can get into deep water, sometimes too deep for her to escape without her siblings.

    Optional

Special Skills: She loves healing, whether it be traditional or power wrought.  Well, she can’t channel, but she loves seeing her grandmother heal using the power.

    History

In 850 NE, a daughter of a minor noble in Saldaea, Estean Aravell, whom had great potential for channeling was accepted into the Tower to become Aes Sedai.  However, she broke down during her testing to become Aes Sedai, and was thus put out of the Tower with enough silver to last her for 2 years.  She then settled down in a tiny village in Kandor.

50 years later, the village was attacked by Trollocs in the remainder of a large borderland raid that somehow managed to get past the border defenses.  One of the few survivors, she fled again, southwards this time into Andor, where channellers were honoured.

Strange though it was, Estean fell in love with Namell Yoshan in the city of Caemlyn.  They married, and bought a cosy house near the capital of Andor, where they lived happily for a long time, and had many children.

Nesyer was the cousin of Wilemi and Nenen, and the sister of Seyneru.  Showing a skill of traditional medicinal and herbal healing, she was selected to be the wise woman’s apprentice when she was no more than 10 years of age. One of the best apprentices that the wise woman had ever seen, where the herbs and medicines under her care seemed to work miracles, it stood to reason that her grandmother, Estean, was naturally suspicious of her being able to channel.  Though Estean hid herself around corners, bushes, and other objects, and monitored Nesyer from afar, she was never able to spot Nesyer channeling.  Reasoning to herself that Nesyer probably did have an inherent talent after all, for healing, she simply decided to wait and test Nesyer herself when she was 15 years of age onwards.

    The chance never came

The whole family was attacked by Namell before Estean could even get a chance to try and test Nesyer.  Nesyer was out fortunately.  But when she arrived back home, her old life was in shambles.  Her parents were dead, her remaining family was in the palace, and when she arrived, only Estean, Wilemi, Nenen, and her brother Seyneru had survived..  Tested for the ability to channel, she tested true, and she, Wilemi, Nenen, Estean and Seyneru travel to the White Tower to learn how to channel.  Seyneru travels with them in hope that he will be able to become a Warder at Tar Valon.

In that time, it was also revealed to Nesyer that Estean had found out that Namell was a dreadlord in the Shadow, and a darkfriend of high rank, and the Namell had attacked the family because Estean had exposed him and confronted him.

The whole group was attacked on the way to Tar Valon, where Estean and Nenen defended the group successfully.  Nesyer did not ask for Estean to teach her to channel, preferring to order about her healing kit as best she could, throwing away old herbs that would expire during the long stay in Tar Valon.  Then, she gave everything to Estean, who did something, and preserved the kit such that it would expire, but would take many years to do so.  Nesyer thanked Estean profusely, but still refused to learn how to channel until she reached the city of Tar Valon.

  9. Character Information 2

Handle : Arani Lepenque Aes Sedai

    Basic Information

    Name: Nenen Kailadel

    Age: 17

    Nationality: Saldaean-Andoran

    Appearance

Hair: Gold as a corn tassel

    Eyes: Blue-Green of the Seea

    Skin: Pale

    Height: 5’5

    Voice: Low Alto

    Other: Hawklike eyebrows

Nenen is tall like Wilemi, a legacy of her Saldaean heritage. She has much more build to her due to training with weapons, especially the staff, and can often be seen wearing breaches, rather than the normal skirts and dresses, which hinder her movements during practice.

Her hair is colour of the corn tassel, though it is not as well kept as Wilemi, and thus her hair, when looked at more closely, has a slightly brownish sheen to it, and it is more tangled. Her eyes are the blue-green of the sea, direct and hard most of the time, though it does soften, rarely. Her face has the distinctive Saldaean nose, a legacy of her Saldaean heritage. Her face is oval shaped, and her skin is pale.

Her beauty is far greater than her sister’s due to the fact that she does keep herself in good shape and form, but her muscular tone has also damaged it somewhat.

    Personality

Nenen has an abrupt personality, unlike her twin sister Wilemi Yoshan. She likes to interact with the common people. But when she explodes, she could utter words that would make a wagon driver turn red with embarrassment.

Nenen does not lie down whenever she is beaten. In stead, when she loses, she uses that defeat to spur her on to ever greater heights. Her will is stronger than Estean, and it shows. She does not really care who her tongue explodes on, even if Estean gives her a heavy lecture as a result..

Nenen also is sometimes revengeful. She has been known to pay back grudges in full and more. However, it is possible to make her concede that she was in the wrong in the first place, though making her apologize is on the far side of impossible.

    Optional

Special Skills: Nenen can wield a staff pretty well (WS 4), but she’d probably injure herself trying to use something else.

Strange though it was, Estean fell in love with Namell Yoshan in the city of Caemlyn.  They married, and bought a cosy house near the capital of Andor, where they lived happily for a long time, and had many children.

Nenen was the twin sister of Wilemi, and was always secretly looking out for her, since the day she could take care of herself.  The daughter of the blacksmith, she was always sneaking into the forges and would, wide-eyed, look at the blacksmith and his apprentice work the fires and the metal.  Nenen always wanted to know how to work a bellows, or shape a horseshoe, basically, she wanted to know blacksmithing.

One day, her father, resigned to Nenen’s fate, decided to teach her how to blacksmith in his free time or while his apprentice was not around.  She pestered her father for information, and drank in all he taught her, though she often did make slips which resulted in a mess which her father somehow managed to conjured up something new and innovative, and always complemented her for giving him new ideas, which made Nenen smile.

Nenen too, like to practice the quarterstaff with her grandmother, Estean and her father.  She once disarmed him by accident, but when he got over the shock, laughed and allowed her to continue training.

Her life changed forever when Namell attacked her and the family due to the fact that Estean had revealed him to be a darkfriend and a dreadlord to boot.  They fled to the palace, where there was Aes Sedai help, and managed to stop him once and for all.

Nenen was tested for the ability to channel, which she had.  She left for Tar Valon with Wilemi, Nesyer, Estean and Seyneru a day after.  They were ambushed on the way to Tar Valon, Nenen delt with several bandits from behind, while Estean picked off the rest and chased them away.  Nenen did not want Estean to teach her to channel however, preferring to rely on her physical abilities to help.  At least until the city of Tar Valon came, where she would have no choice, but to leave her weapon skills of the staff behind, until she became Aes Sedai.

  10. Character Information 1

Handle : Arani Lepenque Aes Sedai

    Contact : nathanaelwongzhixin@gmail.com

    Basic Information

    Name: Wilemi Kailadel

    Age: 17

    Nationality: Saldaean-Andoran

    Appearance

    Hair: Gold

    Eyes: Blue like the sky

    Skin: Pale

    Height: 5'5

    Voice: Alto

    Other: Strong nose

Wilemi is tall and rail thin. However, she is shorter than her grandmother Estean because she has Andoran heritage, and thus shorter parents. Her thinness is due to the fact that she prefers to stay indoors and read, never exercising. Even with Nenen's constant badgering.

Her hair is colour of the corn tassel, and shines like gold in the rays of the full sunlight. Her eyes are the blue of the sky, sharp most of the time, but sometimes vague, and her face has the distinctive Saldaean nose from her grandmother. Her face is oval shaped, and her skin is pale.

She looks young and with some remnants of beauty that has been somewhat wasted away due to that fact that she neglected her body to nurture the mind.  However, she is now learning to her cost that neglecting the body too much means that the mind would be affected adversely too.

    Personality

Wilemi is an introvert, prefering to keep to her rooms most of the time to read books. She however, prefers reliable and proven facts to hearsay and stories.  Thus, there is much she has missed out on due to the fact that she does not realized that there may be truth hidden in lies

Wilemi is also very sharp and quick intellectually. In the city, not many are as clever as she, for her powers of logical deduction and reasoning are potentially unmatched, well, as long as judgement does not cloud it anyway.

As a commoner, Wilemi's will is weaker than most. Her backbone has strengthened throughout the years, but still she needs prompting and help by Nenen to cope with the stress. She is known to be clam kind and sympathetic, and always keeps an open mind while making judgements, well, most of the time.

    Optional

Physical Weaknesses: She is so thin that her skill with the staff is limited, eve with training.

Knowledge Weaknesses:  She is overly cautious on information that is hearsay.

Wilemi was born to a family of 4, the twin sister of Nenen.  She was the daughter of the blacksmith in the city, and was known to all as being one of the quietest and most well mannered of all the girls in the whole district.  More amazing was her intellect.  From the age of 4, she had started to learn the words, where most children were learning alphabets.  Before the age of 10, she had read most of the books in the house, and was thirsting for more.  Her grandmother, Estean, bemused and gratified, taught her secretly the Old Tongue of humans, which she learnt like the desert drinking in water.

But Wilemi was such a quiet and shy girl, that she was usually pushed around in the city, by boys and girls, children and adults alike, and she accepted it, for usually she was having her nose in her books and would do anything for anybody, if only to find a scrap of knowledge that seemed lost to all.  Her sister, Nenen, usually had to stiffen her back time and again to remind her that she was a person, not a thing to be ordered around, for she sensed that Wilemi actually had a deep sense of independence, it was just that it was hidden beneath soft feathers of gentleness.

Then one day, Estean fell sick.  Wilemi was devastated, for she was closer to Estean than any of her siblings.  She sat by Estean’s side from dawn to dusk, tending her, but even Nesyer, her cousin, knowledgeable as she was at herbs, could do nothing to tamper down the fever.  They had to wait for an agonizing few days before Estean’s temperature came down sufficiently.

When Namell attacked the whole family after he was revealed by Estean to be a dreadlord and high in the ranks of the shadow, Wilemi was gathered up by Estean along with her surviving relatives, her twin sister, and Nesyer and Seyneru, and fled to the palace of Caemlyn, where they received the help of the Aes Sedai advisor, and managed to subdue and still him on the spot.

Wilemi was tested for the ability, which she had.  She left for Tar Valon with Nenen, Nesyer, Estean and Seyneru a day after.  Wilemi and her siblings were ambushed on their way to Tar Valon by several bandits.  Estean chased them away after teaching them a good lesson with the One Power.  Intrigued, Wilemi asked Estean to start teaching her.  At first Estean disagreed, but finally gave in at Wilemi’s disappointed look.

Estean taught Wilemi on the way to Tar Valon how to surrender to Saidar.  Wilemi could not touch to source at first, requiring one out of every few dozen tries to be able to do it, and she could not do it every day.  But as days progressed, she could embrace the True Source more easily, and with a higher probability at every passing day, until the group arrived at Tar Valon.
