  1. “I am hoping you have some other clothes than that? I do not think your..outfit..will do for calisthenics or working the forms.”

Talim blinked. "You mean that this is not suitable? This is my worse dress! What kind of clothes do you want me to get? I can have something made for me by the end of the morning." She was still in shock that she needed something worse than what she was wearing. Could it be that she would have to wear...breeches and a coat...like some man? She shuddered at the thought.

  2. Ikkiliad wearily dragged himself from his bunk and dressed himself. He and the other Healers had been working non-stop since the battle in Sheinar. All were exhausted and sometimes only kept going by removing each others' exhaustion. At least they had taken care of all the urgent and terminal cases. All was left were smaller cuts, minor burns, fractures, and so on. He made his way to the infirmary and was about to begin work on a Dedicated with burns down his whole back, when suddenly someone else was there.

"Pardon the intrusion Asha'man. I am Valeran Kertovni.  I saw you healing the other day, after the battle.  I saw the weaves and thought that perhaps I might possess a small ability to heal.  I am not certain though, I did not want to attempt the weaves without proper instruction."

Ikki blinked uncertainly. Someone wantes to learn Healing from me? he wasn't sure how or where to start, but he wasn't about to object.

"Ummm, I suppose I could show you how and see what kind of skill you have for  Healing. Everyone can Heal, but the amount of skill one has varies. Some of the Asha'man can Heal almost any wound, but the next one may not be able to do much more than scrapes and bruises. Now watch closely..."

"G-good sirs, the clothings, and bandages?"

Ikki turned to see another black-coated man with no Dragon or Sword. From the look on his face, he seemed like he was a fairly new Soldier put on Infirmary. He might not even know how to channel yet. Well, he could learn something, in any case.

"Umm, yes. Right here. Now both of you, watch closely." Ikki entered the Void and embraced the Source, that eternal struggle, the wild torrent of fire and ice. Taking large amounts of Water, Air, and Spirit, he slowly wove the complex Healing weave. He put his hand on the patient's shoulder and the weave made contact with the burned skin. The Dedicated gasped and gave a small spasm while the purple, black, and red burns down his back faded into his normal, tender pink skin. He released the weave and let go of the now very tired Dedicated.

He turned to the Soldier with the bandages. "Solider, fetch some food from that counter for this Dedicated. This type of Healing uses part of the patients energy, so it leaves them very tired and hungry."

He herded Valeran down the next patient while Simmen fetched the food. "Now, you can try. This soldier has a cut down his forearm." Ikki slowly unwrapped the bandages from the forearm and gave it a quick examination before proceeding. "Just use the weave I showed you and don't forget to make physical contact with the patient, or it won't work. If you mess up, I'll just cut your weave off and flick you in the forehead, so don't worry." He gave a small grin and motioned for the Dedicated to begin.

  3. Ikki never made his introduction. Frankly in this situation, he was so nervous he was sure his knees would give out. The presence of this room was...overpowering. He was mainly focused on keeping himself from passing out or emptying his stomach. And he wasn't even holding the Source. It was just the setting and the presence of a ta'veren that wasthrowing him off. He wasn't sure he could embrace the Source right now with how nervous he was.

"And just how many of your boys did you loose in the battle against them?"

Ikki perked up at this. His face was obviously filed with hurt. He could feel warm tears roll down his cheeks. "Too many. Too many were lost. I couldn't save them all. I was too slow. There were too many..." He continued on with his murmurings that most would take as signs of madness.  He was snapped out of it when suddenly Covai punched the Lord Dragon in the face. Ikki gasped and nearly fainted from shock. He put his hand on Geirrin's shoulder to keep hiself from falling. It was all just too much at once...

    Not very Asha'man-like...

  4. Conveniently enough, the first Aes Sedai Meli found was Jaydena Sedai, her mentor and somewhat of an expert on angreal and ter'angreal. She rushed up to her and began babbling like the Tower was on fire.

"Jaydena Sedai! Jaydena Sedai! You'll never guess what happened! I know what ter'angreal can do! First it was the swans that make water invisible, then there was the ring that stores weaves and the bells that call animals! The I used the brush with air and it made me blonde and then with fire it made me red like Jerenia! See! See! It's blonde and red! Isn't this exciting Jaydena Sedai?"

She had the colored chunks of her hair in her hands and she was showing them off to her mentor while bouncing around with excitement, expecting the aged Green Sister to join her in her very girlish act.

  5. “By tradition, Reds have not bonded Warders. Since we can no longer help or control these men by gentling them, we must do so by Bonding them.”

Jasmyne merely raised a single eyebrow. She couldn't say she was entirely surprised. She knew Zarinen's history and believed it. The woman bonded a man who went mad and she killed him. It explains much of her behavior.

As for the idea itself, she wasn't phased by it. She enjoyed men, whether they could channel or not. She had nearly chosen the Green Ajah, had it not been for that Deanne. And she had been around channeling men for years, gentling the ones she had to and sending off the rest to the Blight for training. Great Lord, she had even linked with one once!

"I agree with you, Highest. But the only concern I have is what makes you think the Black Tower would agree to this? We have a history of disposing of men of their like and the world knows Aes Sedai weave webs and plots to make spiderwebs seem simple. If I were them, I wouldn't agree to such a thing to readily." She smiled innocently, ignoring what stares she might have earned from the other Sitters. She wanted this. The possibilites were endless...
