  1. Bahaha, I'll take that challange Lii! IF anyone else has an acolyte out there, send me a PM or IM! I'll slip my wide hips into a dress if thats what it takes. ;)

Newsflash! The library has free wireless internet! I have 2 and a half hours of extra web time per work day! Yay!!!!!!!!!

    *does a super happpy dance*

  2. Tigara watched the boy wander into the courtyard, obviously irritated. He smiled. This one would be all sorts of fun. Letting go of his weave, he became visible once again, sitting on a bench a few feet off. "It seems you can read a clock. Very good. That will cut you down one lesson."

Standing up and walking over to where Darial was, he began his lesson. "First off, you are a male. Not only a male, but a male that can channel. Most people tend to run screaming when they see you or anyone of similar kind, but not here. Here, we teach you how to most effectively serve the Great Lord. The most effective way you can do that is by having me, or someone like me, teach you the basics of combat, espionage, and infiltration. To start off, are you able to grasp the Source at will?"

  3. Ikki nodded in approval and was almost a bit jealous. He hadn't been that good at healing at that stage of his training. Maybe this Valeran also had the Talent, or maybe this was as good as he was going to get. With saidin, a man can grow in leaps and bounds at any time. The theory of that was quite complex and he had never really gotten into that. He preferred solid knowledge over squabbling over ideas and possibilities.

"Well, it seems you have no small Talent, but who knows. You may grow stronger in healing as your strength does, or this may be where your potential stops. Light only knows and only time will tell."

Now, to figure out what to teach him next. Delving is always good, as it's the forerunner to any Healing process. "Next, I'll show you two how to Delve. Delving is the building block or all Healing. It's how you find out exactly what's wrong with the patient. Watch closely."

Weaving a moderately complex web of Spirit, he scanned the nearest Asha'man for injuries. "This Asha'man has a few broken ribs and a cracked forearm." Ikki said. He then wove Healing into the man, who began to convulse, then went limp as the healing was done. He often wished he could use that new Healing. He hated the way patients reacted with the normal Healing.

"Now you try Delving the next man. Soldier, can you touch the Source? If you can, try as well."

  4. Myrrh woke up in his bunk, dreading the day. He hadn't been a Dedicated for more than two days and already, he was teaching little whelps. He dreaded teaching, or anything that required him to be somewhat civil. He had trouble with his temper...and maybe even his tongue. At least on the bright side, the Soldier already knew how to at least take hold of the Source. In his opinion, that was the worst thing to have to teach.

In his head, he went through a mental checklist of what he needed to remember...what he needed to teach. He had heard that this boy showed considerable potential in Earth, and was of no little strength in Fire and Spirit. A weapon, this one would be. A good one.

Throwing on his boots and black coat, he started towards the door, his fingers on his collar. He wasn't quite used to wearing his Silver pin, so he often reminded himself it was there. As he reached for the door, he heard a ratting on it. He opened it and there was his charge, standing on his doorstep. He arched an eyebrow at the boy. At least he's punctual.

"Well well, it appears that you are the lucky boy who gets to be my first student. We're going to the training grounds, but you're going the long way around the dining hall. Exercise and all that. Get to it and I'll meet you there. Now!" Myrrh barked. He might enjoy this after all. It was good to be in charge.
