Knights, castles, royalty, balls, grand battles, and the belief in the mystical.

Knights - The idea that someone in shining armor could ride in on his white steed to save you from mortal peril *swoons*

Castles & Royalty - I think this is an ideal that carried over from that age, the poor would always dream of living like the rich, in their huge and safe castles, with people at their beck and call, making whatever decisions suit their fancy. Or, that's the fantasy.

Balls - It may just be me, but the fashion of that age is entrancing and the idea of going to a masked ball, meeting a handsome stranger, falling in love, and living happily ever after... It's every little girl's dream.

Grand battles - Yes, we absolutely still have warfare, but it was so... personal. Running someone through with a sword took a skill that is rare today, and you had to look them in the eye as you did it. Personal killing is much more moving.

Mystical - As Ben said, back then anything that was difficult to explain was instead attributed to something mystical/magical. It created amazing fantasies and a whole new depth for us to imagine in the world.

I also got Henry VI, and I supposed the only similarity I can point out is that I matured at a young age as well, although not a young as he did lol.

My favorite Tudor isn't directly a Tudor, but I've always had a fondness for Mary Queen of Scots (Mary Stuart or Mary I)

I am unfortunately unfamiliar with the art of the Renaissance period, but I do look forward to learning some of it here *pulls up a chair in the front row*

And I still seriously regret not using my chance to make Harry, Ron, and Hermione the safe claims for the mafia

Me! Elgee and DarJen and I were the scum team! Great game you guys! I absolutley loved the storyline and being able to earn roles/abilities in the chests. Thanks to Shad and Adella for an awesome game! You all played great!

Night fell and the students decided to sleep again as the lights dimmed and the blankets appeared. Little did they know that the traitors were ready for night this time. Hermione fell asleep last, and in the silence they took their chance to swoop in. Holding a pillow over her face, they quietly smothered her.

Turning back to the remaining students, they found that everyone in the room was now awake. But… the students were outnumbered! Waving their wands in front of their faces, suddenly Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle were plain as day present in the room. How could they not have known?! With a laugh, the three members of the Inquisitorial Squad raised their wands and shouted Avada Kedavra. The three spells hit the remaining two students square in the chest.

Sure, they would have to spin a story to Umbridge, but really, it’s not like she was going to start an investigation into the deaths of these traitors...

Everyone now may post and discuss the game, Shad will be back with set-up and roles at some point. I knew we wait with bated breath.

As usual, his camera hadn’t been out of his reach, and he was using it to document his findings. He had noticed that Angelina was acting out of sorts, it was too bad that someone had attacked her in her sleep before he could prove his theory. Ginny has also been very suspicious, and he was very shocked when she turned out not to be the traitor. At least he had photos of their last days spent down in the depths of the Room of Requirement, he would post them up on the wall in his dorm once he got back.

Through the day it seemed like people will losing their will to find the traitor, and for some reason his vote kept not getting counted when they talked about who they suspected as traitor… Shaking his head, he dismissed the thought and snapped a quick photo of the group of students who were discussing their fates.

A bright flash from the bulb caught someone's eye, and one by one they turned toward him until there was nothing but silence, and eyes pointed at his camera.

As one group, they moved forward and his camera was yanked from his hand, but they didn’t notice that the strap was still around his neck. The camera was pulled viciously forward, the strap yanked on his neck, there was a quiet snap, and he fell to the floor. His eyes had already glazed over from death.

LZM was lynched.

He was….

I am not surprised at all that Shad majored in History and Philosophy...

I am going to be over here with envy for you Dawn, if I could go to school and do anything I wanted, it would absolutely be for creative writing, I just keep getting in my own way. Good luck and have fun!!

This new room was near impossible for the students to sleep in, but the room seemed to know that they needed rest. Eventually the lights dimmed, some blankets showed up in the corner, and a soft whisper of wind blew through to lull the students to sleep.

The night was fitful, and someone was tossing and turning in their sleep. As everyone woke to the lights coming back up to normal, they nervously counted who was left and found they were one short. It didn’t take long before they found her slumped against the wall, a broken broomstick laying next to her. It looked like it had been the instrument of her murder.

Turin is dead.

Suddenly finding themselves locked in a room with no doors, the students began to get desperate. Fingers were pointed in every direction, but eventually the most fingers were pointed at her. Backing away, she whispered, “I know who the traitor is.” The other students paused.

“It… it was my diary” And with a scream the others fell upon her.

Another restless night fell as the students were starting to feel the pressure of their situation fall on their shoulders. If they couldn’t find and stop the traitor, would they ever escape from the depths of the castle?

Kicking a rock around the room, one student kept catching glares from those who were trying to sleep, so he wandered further away from the dozing students. Growing up in the muggle world, he still had some ways to distract himself from the stresses of living in this world.

In his mind he was on the West Ham football team, dodging around other players on the field, rushing the goal before anyone knew where he had gone. He kicked and it was good! GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Raising his arms above his head, he turned to head back to where the other students were resting, and came face to face with another student, holding a large piece of wood above their head. Just before the other student brought their arms down, he muttered “red flag, mate.” He was found in the morning, arms still raised above his head in victory.

Oh my goodness, Elg I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope your mum handles the news alright, I know you have been taking care of her too. This is a lot to handle all at once, please don't forget that your health is important too.
