Usually when he is scum he is a bit more stubborn and careless about things, but he probably wouldn't want to be caught in a situation where all of his reads were premised on supposed TMI. Besie has 75 posts since the beginning of night on page 58 or so. It has been 48 pages since then, but most of it was at night so the thread has obviously slowed down some probably because we already know who the lynch is but we're procastinating. Anyway, point is that iun the span of 2 days she's posted about 50% less than she posted day 1 and she's posted mostly fluff afaict. If anyone has another opinion on this, please speak now.

because it seemed there was a considerable amount of doubt on the leading trains and I wasn't gonna let bes slide away. You switched to her. Too late. But still.

Keep in mind that her experiment with gathering names was mostly wolfy because it is unusual for town to focus on that for pages and pages and then votes off wagon leaving it up to rng. It really only happens when the villager is confused and doesn't know how to help. Furthermore I've yet to see a single post of hers that was upset about how people did not consolidate which was the entire point of her collecting her names, and certainly the majority of her posts at the time were bent to exactly that purpose. So indeed if she was a confused villager who was that intent on helping I have yet to see a continuation of that in her lower post count today as her wagon was run up.

I also suspect Besie is more spontaneous in her first town game, sort of like letting the floodgates down, but I actually don't know her well enough to say such a thing. In any case her first few posts of this game do not feel like a first-time villager's after they played 3 times as a wolf.

I see the accusation. I also see the assumption that Zander was the mafia kill.

 

He's talked about why he thinks Kivam wasn't (that kivam was vig or possibly sk) but I'm not ruling it out that Kivam was killed my mafia, and don't like that he is.

I assume that zander was the wolf kill too, ftr. It makes a lot more sense, so I dont see a reason to not move with that assumption for now.

I actually really like the part about me and darthe. I trust people to easily in general lol. Darthe has played more games with me on this site than anyone tbh. While I read him wrong often. He has his town game that I think is undeniable. It is extremely easy to read, as he can't fake it as a wolf. I am sure others know what I am talking about.

The key is to see if he keeps it up, and how he is actually progressing.

I'm one of those that believe that initial game posts are very important. You just found out your role, you're still coming to terms with whatever you got. Especially if you got scum. So I agree with those that say it's quite BS that you post without checking your pm yet.

Bold and italics seem to be in conflict with each other. If you truly believe that early game posts are important then that means that you CAN use them to form real reads. The italised section also makes her early game posts seem additionally bad.

Bes give some reads but then basically backs off of them and in fact swaps to vote her previous town read.  How does that happen? It smacks of giving fake reads. A bunch of the rest of it is fluff and inconsistent.

We literally just played a game with him where he was town. What did he do? He tried to find out who the scum were. That's kinda the point, right? So that's the first part of my sentence.

 

Second part of the sentence is referring to, once again, the game we just played (and pretty much all mafia games ever). When someone is inactive it does not make them town. We are 15 people in this game atm. At that point in time like 5 people (#themathishard) were actively talking.

 

My post didn't say anything alignment - wise. It simply stated the obvious.

What's the point of mentioning anything? Have you not been giving your opinion on random posts? Or are you just critisizing one of the few people that actually do? I do not think the same way you do. I look for reads in different places; in different ways.

 

And that, is what makes mafia work. We're supposed to work together and find the one person that everyone has as scum, albeit for different reasons. If you are completely against a vote because you don't like their reasoning, rather than having your own reasons for thinking them town? Then I have nothing to say to you.

 

The first part reads as overly defensive.  Additionally She is trying to flip it back on Eldrick but I don't think there is anywhere that she actually places him as a suspect. 

 

The second part is directly inconsistent with her later stance to take a poll IMO. This early stance is more aligned with Lenlo's view that it is better to discuss amongst the group and decide who makes the most sense. Not to take a poll and see who is in more peoples WTL list.

 

The last line is weird because looking for bad cases is one of the best ways to pin down mafia. Especially in early days as you shouldn't have too many people that you are willing to believe are lock town.
