Okay, I don't actually hate you all.  That catch up was surprisingly not painful.  I'll be honest - I saw 17 pages and assumed it was going to be people spamming gifs (not naming any names on that one) or poeple just going off about things that probably don't matter? 

 

Off the top of my head, I think Darthe is probably town.  I think it was Sili that said the two of them don't really see eye-to-eye on things, which is pretty historically true, so it wouldn't surprise me at all that Darthe would take offense to some of the things that sili has done this game.  The taunting (probably not the word I really want) about contradictions vaguely reminds me of how Town!Darthe approached sili in Alanna's Arthurian game.  His tone is kinda different from last game, but maybe he decided that toxic crap wasn't the best way to go about it again

 

Sili I would guess town, just based on the effort he's putting forth to fight the read.  I wasn't paying attention to timestamps so I don't know how valid his timeline argument really is, but he seems frustrated with how he's being read.

 

 

I don't have any strong mafia reads at this point, but gun to my head, I would probably go Penny or Seph.  A couple of the things Seph brought up towards Alanna just seemed fake to me.  

 

 

 

 

I have def seen Laine have a similar day phase entrance before (quick vote and strange unvote). I have zero idea what alignment she was.

I have. I also believe I've recently (?) mentioned that I barely ever vote d1 until I'm certain. Wanted to see who was paying attention.

 

I don't understand this. IF you wanted to see reactions why wouldn't you just vote? The very next post you yourself told us that you don't vote early, and unvoted. ruining and reactions you say you wanted to get.

I guess there's two sides to this. One is that Seph appears out of place while everyone else is joking and getting their groove with the game. He comes straight in trying to make reads from jokes, which I don't fault him for, necessarily. But at the same time, it makes it look like he's got something to prove.

 

this feels like your singling me out alanna. the only people itt that were joking was thane and zander. myself, darthe, sili, caldur, and now a few others are all trying to get this game started.

 

Personally I find I have a lot more to prove as scum than town, Darthe. Something to do with having a guilty conscious. You're right though, it's probably more positive than neg right now anyways.

The bottom is just bad.  You're right there weren't many posts between them.  There weren't many posts in the thread in general.  I have a hard time believing that YOU believe she should have a lot of conviction at that point.

Penny...IDK...just kind of overplayed it for me with her response to Liz calling her out.  I fully believe that that Penny would be annoyed if Liz was jumping down her throat early.  I know they've gotten into it a couple times in the past on PerC and just don't really work together.  So annoyance makes sense to me...but here, it just seems fake.

That's not exactly what I'd call a tunnel, especially when you factor in how much attention she had put elsewhere prior to that.  If Liz had actually made any sort of effort to push Penny, or even insinuate she might be mafia, that's one thing.  But she didn't.

Yeah, but I still have trouble fitting that with either mindset.  If she's going to be that pissed about Liz tunneling her, does it really matter whether Liz believes Celeste is mafia?  And why would Celeste ever believe that Liz is going to deliberately tunnel her if she DIDN'T think she was mafia?

I feel like she is already zeroing in on me because i'm the player she knows most here. I kind of don't want to clog the thread with this banter if it can be prevented. I would like for us to figure out a way to work together without tunneling to happen.

I don't see how you can legitimately make that argument.  I quoted everything she said to/about you prior to your comment.  She had barely said anything about you, whatsoever, and she had substantially more content directed towards other players.
