I believe your vote is still being counted. But your reason for it, was what you thought Cory would do with it. Surely it would have been better to wait and see what he did with it. sometimes better to let it run to prove something. It looks worse for you for not letting that happen.

No I didn't agree with Leelou's reasoning. She voted for no reason and I questioned why? She gave the reason. My point about her reason, was if SHE thought he was setting people up, why not wait to actually see him do it, then you have some kind evidence. She thought he could be doing it. By voting him and saying why, she lost her reason. If I had thought that (which I didn't and never said I did) then why not wait before placing vote.

like to clarify, for thread, i believe it's unnatural that lee and verbal don't talk for about 60 posts while talking on the same issue. seems like they should have crossed paths more, especially if verbal agreed with lee's judgement.

 

and if verbal agreed with lee's judgement, even if he didn't talk to lee about it, i think it would have made more sense from a town's pov to discuss the case more and pressure cory, but verbal more or less floats through it.

Want to add to this because there are actually two scenarios that come to mind.

 

a. Tallya was baiting cory into voting sooh or I with her first post in that mq at the top of this page. In his scenario, why distract from lee's criticism of cory if they were thinking along the same lines? That doesn't seem like a conversation that should have gone on for several pages.

b. Talya was deflecting attention. In this scenario her slander had no back bone - scummy (reeks of trying to lead the conversation) - and while she criticizes lee for her approach, and not the idea behind it, she forgets that she tried to incriminate me with her slander. Perhaps her slander was genuine? But my point is Talya did not react to  Lee's criticism of Cory in a way that demonstrates self-awareness. It's possible Cory was aiming to incriminate someone therefore Lee's argument had merit. Surely Talya would not have posted that post if she had come to the same conclusion as Lee, unless it was to bait Cory into a bad position, therefore  her reaction to the idea should not have been to criticize the approach.

 

 

1. Wasn't trying to bait Cory into anything - wrong!

2. I critisied the approach AND the reasoning. Slander means false words, so please show me those, becaause there aren't any. What do you mean by self awareness?

I just did what I did to get a reaction out of Cory to see if he would react townie or scummy. Game was starting to spiral into a spamfest. For me, he's now in my town pile. 

 

For you, sorry about the cat. <3 Also, I'm getting a slight townie vibe from your posts and responses. 

 

Verb could be scum. I need to see what he does when he gets back. And no, we didn't interact much. I responded "Yes" to him and then I asked him about Cory. I posted my unvote before Verbal even answered though.

Eldrick does feel somewhat different this game. I can't point out anything specific as of right now since I'm at work, but the thought just struck me. I'll try to go back and look when I get home today.

 

I agree here, he usually reminds me of an eager puppy, they get excited and gives lots of wees and poos all over the place as well as some love. He isn't coming across like that here.

You didn't say that at the time, but I can see that as better reason for the vote. I'm going to read over that again. People have brought up points about Verb that I didn't see and want to see if they have anything in them or not.

I actually like what I see here more, after reading his last few posts. Maybe the puppy is growing up? (PS Eld, I love puppies so didn't mean anything rude by it)
