So here's where I'm at...  Haven't run this past Leelou yet but  *think* we both agree that Tom is a disgusting flea ridden wolf.  I'm especially leery of his attempts at strong arming the thread and intimidating people - Sili is the one that comes to mind because I think Town Tom and I both agree that Sili has good reads but can be easily drown out.

That does not bode well for Monster, unfortunately.  Monster isn't Town telling.  That and the nonsense clear on each other's slots by the two of you are completely unacceptable.  You may as well claim masons now or get explaining.  Because there is nothing ITT to make me think anyone should be able to clear either one of you.

There's at least 1 wolf in Tommy/Manbat

Like I said, knowing tommy was town this becomes much less of a good look

The first bolded doesn't make sense to me. Why include the descriptor "Town Tom"?

You can disagree all you want but calling me a wolf for that is really ridiculous

Woah. Where did I call you a wolf? I said you looked BAD for it. And guess what? You do. If you don't have ITT reasons for clearing Tom, AND you haven't posted those reasons ITT? I'm not the one being "really ridiculous" here.

Tom/monstr/cory

I guarantee at least 2 scum in that list.

Hally is part of Cory's hydra.  Read some of her posts and honestly tell me those are coming from scum...  I feel pretty good about them at this point in time.  The other two I'm on board with.

"I agree that the other two are scum"

Actually I caught this contradiction pretty early. I think it's a worse look now, once again knowing tom and I are town and he is HARD defending corlia

I think the village is scared because the wolves won last game by hardclearing each other early

This is a true statement. I believe I made this statement earlier. The rest of that statement is that the wolves hardcleared each other FOR NO REASON. So you understand why I want to see the reasons?

Things like "well he does it as both alignments" means "I don't disagree" imo.

No, it means you're using null tells to try and pin him down as a wolf. I am refuting your points saying "Tom is strongarming, therefore wolf" etc by saying

"Tom does these things as both alignments, therefore your point is moot"

Actually this is another wolfy thing coming from yates, afaict.

I cite the specific point of "Using null tells to pin someone down as a wolf"

This is probably easier in a game with seer cover but you are imposing your limitations in "reasoning" on us

monstr is basically laying out his own meta for you and it's 100% true; he prides himself in being villagery early in either alignment and him tripling-down when the stakes come out for it is a >> rand villager move for him, but he'll be much easier to read Day 2 and beyond

Tommy is just Tommy and it's funny that you bitched last game for "not being cleared because you're such a good wolf" when that's basically what you are mauling Tommy for right now

Cory pocketing us

He ALWAYS pockets me when he's scum

my scumteam guess is something like

hallia/yates

and then I think dice is > Rand villager for this post if yates is scum

im leaning town on manbat    hes been transparent about the way he plays and refuses to change his reads despite pressue about it

im carefully leaning town on yates/leelou. mostly cause im paranoid yates is tricking me tbh. i agree with AJ that his opening posts to us were townie yates posts and he has been agressive and pushing things.

im putting AJ at null. i didnt and still dont like that response. he finally comments on my vvote in a way that is positive to me. it is a very typical AJ way at looking at my posts    he prides himself a little on being able to town read me easy but i can see 3 reasons for his reactions. 1 he's scum and trying to buddy me into being like monstr and being soft  2 hes scum and isnt worried about the vote cause its just one vote and its by someone with no clout or 3 hes town and isnt worried cause he figures i will see his townieness soon enough.

im leaning town on corey hally mostly cause of hally actually. We have thought along the same lines a couple of times and she totally read my mind earlier

thane may just be my strongest town read. probably a strong lean. ive seen him put his foot in his mouth before and get lynched and every time he was town. also i think he is more nervous and tentative as scum

im leaning scum on verb and arsis.

arsis just seems to be taking pot shots from the sidelines

verb is a gut reaction to his intial reaction to thanes foot in mouth. im willing to hold off and see more from him

I actually have Arsis as more null right now and I think people are using him as lynch bait. I'm not seeing his rub it in your face I'm scum 'tude yet.

I just wanted to post this, wrt Arsis:

I'm actually okay with the Arsis counter wagon, personally. If I'm wrong about Tommy being scum? I absolutely see where the Arsis posts would look opportunistic. With that said, the reason *I* have him as null is because Arsis trolls as either alignment. I'm pretty sure that's something HE says about his own play. The only way for me to tell if it's Town trolling or Scum trolling is with flips. So yeah. That's why I think we both agree that Arsis can be a tough Day 1 read.

I think I need to talk Leelou into my Des Town read, but she's with me on my recommendation on how we should treat/read Thane.

"I want to lynch tom. If tom is town I want to lynch arsis"

Two villagers

The only caveat to my yates/hallia scumteam I think is that their plan of yates coming with a pral scum cop and hallia with a pral village cop doesn't make sense

I wonder if it could be

hallia/des/new sili

because the berf wagon had a hell of a hard time getting off the ground before the thane cfd

You have provided no reasoning for thinking it of me, and shady weak reasoning for Cory.

Good luck with that.

Casting shade on arsis for suspecting them

I also believe verbal is a villager after rereading a few times, considering his overall interest in the game combined with an against the grain line of thinking that I believe is a > rand villager mindset, especially given the gamestate we've beBen in where it would be much easier for the mafia to coast and watch the town argue about the #alliance for days on end, or just comment on it with one or two sentences and otherwise leave it alone.

page 79, currently assuming berf/verb v/v wagons

des' vote on tommy looks suspicious because wolves love to go off wagon when the wagons are v/v

same with dice's vote imo

thane/tom/sili/aj all dead townies

leaves corlia/key because there's no way no scum were on these wagons

re BFG votes.

this is something i can go with actually.  with the exception of the arsis read i felt her reads list was very consensus-y .

I can also see what people are saying about key tho i admit to having not developed a read on her.  which probably means shes mafia actually.

I don't think this is a good look either

About a 3rd of the way through.  Some thoughts.

Hallia finds Leelou town for being confident, but not defensive.  I like the reasoning.

AJ seems a bit forced.

Monstr seems somewhat over-the-top imo but I don't think I've ever played with him so that could just be his style.

Yates attempt to appeal to other people pinged me hard.

Arsis comments about Thane with English and Thane/Leelou making no sense did come across as a bit townie imo.

I don't like this post, tbh

Also continuing on later, there was almost no desire whatsoever for a rags CFD when tommy tried to start one, and instead everyone jumped on the thane cfd, who flipped villager

that's worth taking into great consideration imo

Posted

I say lynch corlia today, pressure the HELL out of rags tomorrow

look skeptically at des

I think alanna is probably town on reread

dice is null

BFKey seems town

Tommy looks good town this game. Don't see the opportunism that I pointed out as scum last game (that part was genuine btw !)

I don't see the push on Arsis. I-dont-care-what-happens Arsis is usually town. As scum, he would play really careful and wouldn't go to the frontlines, as we saw in the Blackhoof(?) game.

AJ is survivor, huh? I will take that now with a pinch of salt.

That said, I am looking at the push on inactive berf and not liking that at all. Seems too easy. And, key apparently jumps on the train when Tom and Monstr start voting Berf. Heh. I am quite sure of Key being scum here.

(Love the link to votes in the VC btw)

[v]Key[/v]

Considering that pral might actually be mafia here, especially if I'm right on corlia
