As discussed in the signup thread, BFG will be taking over for the majority of our hydra head now that she has more time.  I could literally pop any day now (11 days out from due date) and I don't want to get embroiled in a discussion or argument and then have to leave abruptly in the middle - for both her sake and game sake. I probably shouldn't have started this game to begin with, but mafia is apparently like crack to me - addicting and I can't stay away even when I know I should lol. 

 

To address a few things before I leave: apparently my ISO looks scummy.  To use Tommy's earlier words to des - you are fitting it to your narrative.  Funny how Sili and Berf, who don't know me from Adam, are reading me better than several of you who have played with me before.

My questions early in the thread?  I'm trying to figure out the game just like you are, trying to figure out how people are thinking. 

 

My posting dropping off?  I can't keep up as much as some of you.  Plus, I actually think I've posted in the middle and end of D1 than I did at the beginning, so I'm not sure what you were getting at when you did the iso.

 

Questioning someone I felt is town?  Why/how is this bad?  You can't have it both ways.  Either changing reads along with threadflow is good, or it's bad.  I've been called scummy this game because of both reasons (changing/not changing), so which is it?

 

Scumread on Tommy?  Why is questioning his alignment a bad thing?  This is a point repeated over and over this game.  Even if my partner has cautioned me, I don't see how it's scummy to keep going back if that's how I feel - in fact, that's what Tommy has done with me all game.  He's wily, I KNOW he's a better player than I am and he's done/said some things that I find questionable. 

 

My read on Berf?  Well, which is it Des?  You argue that my post is going after LHF in Berf and then later you say I defended his post at first, which is CLEARLY not the case.

 

Whyme fryme?  I fail to see how me telling Tommy he's been wrong about me before, in the ONLY GAME he has played with me so far where I have been a confirmed villager is whyme fryme. 

 

My reads list?  You don't even take into account what I said about replacing Alanna in the third spot, nor what ELSE I said about Rags.  Nor what I said in response to Rags when he corrected me.  No reds?  Funny how you don't comment that no one else seems to have reds either.  

 

Checking back on people?  Guess what, townies check back on things too.  So they can read up and adjust their reads accordingly.  

 

You seem to think there is some kind of connection between Alanna and us.  How are your reads of her, and of this game, going to change when we flip town? 

 

I've talked this over with BFG and we've both agreed that our slot needs to be figured out today.  We were a big part of yesterday's discussion and the majority of today's discussion so far and it's distracting for town to spend so much time on us.

Personally, I think that if he was scum, his team would be telling him to rein it in.  The fluidity of how he posts does not look like scum to me - let alone first time scum.

I do try to be on point if something occurs to me, but it's not very effective when people think I'm a noob. And people think I'm scum for it /shrug.

 

I will continue in my ignorant ways and say what I think if I think it's important though.

Sili, first of all you ARE a noob, at least in relation to a lot of us who have been playing much longer.

 

More importantly tho, NO ONE IS SAYING YOU LOOK SCUMMY BECAUSE YOURE A NOOB. Leave that argument at the salsa bar cause it is weaksauce.

 

And fyi Dice was never being elitist. If in some possible way here you ARE town, you need to stop getting so defensive because it definitely doesn't help your cause.

Manbat, due to the protection side of our role, because he was the only blueread that BFG and I had, he was being townread by many people in the thread and we felt that on the chance you were town, there was a lot of WIFOM surrounding you in regards to protection.

We're having trouble because we don't think anyone has been overtly scummy.  

 

The current bottom of our list reads like this:

 

Pral, because we don't understand how he got his reads and feel like he's put in minimal effort, even for him.

 

Alanna, through POE and also because I remember her being cautious as scum and I don't think there is anything she's posted that couldn't come from an overly cautious scum.  

 

Rags, through POE, because I didn't like the minimal effort when he was beginning to catch up, we don't know his style - except that he can make himself difficult to read.

 

Not sure on the fourth slot.  BFG has Verb, but I don't have that same vibe.  Dice is looking more sketchy to me after his first few posts simply because I cannot follow his logic, and that's usually not the case whenever there is towndice.  

 

Tinfoiling on Yates/Leelou some now, because of Yates's discussion on who the NK was and he didn't bring up manbat, which we thought was an obvious candidate due to how universally townread he was at the time.
