1. How many independent factions can you balance in a 16p set up, before the number of scum you have is 2 or 3? Mafia has been implied to be 4p.

2. It's really unlikely. Even if desp is lying about being a vig.

First part is honestly just nonsense.  That's assuming you know what the mod has planned or what the mod would say after a couple phases.

 

1.  Also assuming you know the game set up. 

2.  As I said, the only relevant point because it is more unlikely.  But not impossible.

YES, it was a gambit ( ). And honestly, I was planning on keeping it going longer, but it ended up working better than expected lulz.

 

Also- YES I was also lying/faking my scum read on Tommy the whole time. It wasn't because I was trying to keep him from being NKed either, or at least not JUST for that purpose. Lately I've noticed my penchant for acting a bit scummy to help avoid NK's hasn't worked very well. It's become too much a part of my meta, to where I think scum know that even when in acting odd it would still be tough to get me mislynched as town.

 

So I've tried something different recently- in a word, #FullDespot. I try acting so dumb and tinfoily and ineffective that hopefully the scum leave me alone, while I continue observing and building reads from my crazy perch in the meantime

 

And if it means I get to troll Tommy in the process, all the better!!!!!

I'll 've doing a much more detailed and put-together post after audit, but yeah let me say my gambit worked rather fantastically. I have some crazy solid reads from the reactions to it now, and am firmly of the belief I have found 3 of the 4 scum.
