Tommy, Leelou, what do you think about Hally's catchup and interaction there? I'm looking for something specific - i wanna know if only i can see it.

 

Three games ago I would have felt comfortable clearing Hallia for having bite and some sharpness, but the game where you two were a scumhydra showed me she can be confident and snarky as scum to enough of a degree to get me to clear her. I think the post with "isn't that how the game is played?" is likely to come from a townie place. I have some trouble following her logic; I think she went from Wombat is scum to okay back to scum but it's a little unclear. The most helpful comment for reading her was probably her questioning my calling the thread villagery early on Friday because I have yet to see her question me like that when she was scum. You should be able to read her better than I can considering you just saw what her scum swagger is like; is she the same or different here?

As for swagger... We really didn't communicate much. I think it probably helped her swagger a lot that she knew she couks count on me. She dislikes being mafia and dislikes lying (she says she practically can't and she really couldn't hide at all in real time interaction on turbo). Helped to have a partner there i assume. I know she being there helped me a LOT indirectly (i hate being scum too).

Early Nyn was a top town read for transparency and maintaining thread presence. I know Des has given her ಠ_ಠ for continuing a scum!Clov read but I believe she believes that Clov's Lee gambit was manufactured and it's probably correct anyway. I've had some minor worries from her appearing frustrated about things I think scum would get frustrated about (regarding you being cleared) and for some lowered thread presence as the day goes on but I haven't gotten the sense she's bluffing her way through the thread. I'm not sure she openly wavers on her read of you and tries to find info from old games if she's scum when you've been a pretty consensusy scum read for most of the game so far. The weirdest thing is the AJ interaction but I don't even wanna get into it right now.

Yes her ignoring me worries me a little too. I believe that I do rub her the wrong way and Leelou reinforced my belief. It's just that I talk first think second and she's the other way around. And it probably galls her for real that I practically told him (correctly but that don't help in fact it hurts) that she doesn't know the first thing about how to read me.

 

I'll review her annoyance towards AJ when I get there but it seemed honest there.

I'd be a little bit surprised if he flipped town but it's something that can be left to night actions or until we have more information.

Dunno. Most would remember that game anyway and I'm so deeply in my town range I doubt I could be mislynched here. The question is whether she would think I could be...

I think his "Lee gambit" was dumb but his backtrack on it immediately after was full stop bull. Several of his posts sound like they were written by someone else (including a hedge post on you) and not by town Clov -- his usually inborn confidence, where it does exist in his posting so far, reads as forced. I think he's taking shots at weaker game, reinforcing existing scum leans instead of generating new suspects, something he does as scum. While arguing with me about Wombat he treated me with the intent to get me to change my read on him through stubbornness instead of displaying intent to discern my alignment.
