While there's def a case to be made for BFG being TG's teammate, this little exchange here REALLY had me doubting that possibility

So to be clear, Darthe hasn't checked in and therefore you're ready to lynch, but BFG hasn't checked in and you don't want to lynch her.  Explain to me the difference in your thought process for these two because I don't see it.

 

 

 

 

Csarmi is one of them. Dunno why but he seems off for me. And Lenlo, the few times i played with him, joked a bit D1, went silent after and turned out scum. Don't trust silent-Lenlo.

TG was trying to push Thane for a while, and if you look at his reasoning/setup, it seems very unlikely that BFG is his teammate here

 

He's trying to fos Thane for wanting to push Darthe for inactivity but not BFG

 

He then follows it up by saying Thane also wants to push Lenlo for inactivity... but not BFG

 

So TG early was chainsaw defending BOTH Darthe and Lenlo, even tho he went into full on bus mode on both of them shortly after

 

But while chainsaw defending one teammate would he try and soft push/implicate another?

 

No, I don't buy it. I think TG was trying to make Thane look bad by saying he wanted to push one inactive (Darthe, TG's teammate), but not other inactives (BFG).

 

Logic and common sense dictate this exchange makes it far more likely that Krak is TG's teammate instead of BFG

The point is as SK you want to make sure you DON'T appear to be a threat to the mafia team

 

So if a scum is lynched D1, you need to make sure you don't hit a scum that night

 

Darthe was a low poster, but certainly had a good chance of being scum. So a SK shooting him N1 wouldn't have been a good idea at all imo. ESPECIALLY not if they were planning on taking credit for the kill.

 

I never tinfoiled on AJ as SK this game. He was absurdly townie and his actions would have made no sense for a SK

I like Weak Docs. Their role carries some of the most wifom with it tho of all roles (as far as deciding a target I mean), but is also absurdly powerful in the right hands, with someone that has good instincts

The funny thing is the exchange actually still ended up being protown- it poisoned the game atmosphere early on but forced a lot of reactions and helped start a power town circle with Tommy, AJ, and myself

And... I'll admit that Hallia's soft claim did in fact help town in this situation. Her drawing the NK didn't help Tommy get a read off, but he was able to still do work and confirm the presence of a RB

 

Didn't help much, and could have been a disaster for town, but eh w/e

 

Doesn't change my stance on early PR hinting/ soft claims. They're prowolf moves.

I disagree. I have read the QT's every game I did and I did manage to collect kills, role cops, role blocks and just sheer annoyance.

Might work a bit with novice scum teams but I've been on scum teams where you tried hinting to draw a PR and we just ignored it
