I know it's difficult to separate newbies and scummy townies from scum, but you have to WORK AT IT. I feel that I've really improved on this front in the past 6 months and I see myself as a defender of those weaker townies. Hence: my blue list. I think it's really solid. PLEASE take it into consideration. I've tried hard to clear players that will be difficult to clear otherwise.

Shiiii- I've defended newbies way better than you. RTE isn't remotely new and is entirely scum. Tsuki looks terrible and isn't remotely new either, those two are probably between 9 months and a year and a half in each. TG isn't new at all, he has been here a long time. Know who is new and obviously a townie newbie? Dawn. They aren't remotely hard to clear when they post (newbies and less advanced players), there just isn't much positive in RTE's/Tsukis posts and TG/Laya hasn't been around much. I think those are all of the people that you tentatively cleared that one could think are new.

Ya but RTE and Tsuki both have dat t0an and are getting aggravated with Des in a very genuine manner. I understand -- I'm in the same spot. Maybe that's why it's easier for me to clear them, but I'll try to pull more posts from them tonight that I think is clearing for them.

So. Adding to this, the timing of Wombat turning on me overnight after I read the thread and tried clearing those scummy townies was conspicuous and his turn around feels forced.

You two have even made the exact same statements at different points in the game, something that points to QT frustration and coaching. Des is biased bad on Red so trying to tie them together but yeah, you and RTE makes some sense.

Tone?  Did you not see what a little sh!t RTE was around the 40s?  He was intentionally obtuse and antagonistic in the hopes that he could bully people into thinking others not town because they disagreed with him and in the process of it he let on that he knew I was town.  There is 0% chance of him ever flipping town in this game.  I've read his soul and found him wanting.

RTE reads pure, as I suspected. He is steadfast in his beliefs, consistent in them, and unapologetic for his own decisions and stances. He is going to flip town, I can almost guarantee it.

All you managed to do to me is alienate me from the game, diminish my WIM, and force me to claim by refusing to listen to me, to consider the possibility that I could be town, and to dismiss all of my reads because "omg lock scum!"

Your arguments are weak but sure, let's go with this.  LOGICAL EXTREMISM:

 

I now know Len was silenced but did not before since, as I said yesterday, I've missed quite a few pages between 30 and here.  I've been popping in since my WIM died and trying to get back into it so I have sporadic coverage of the past 12 pages or so.  Your other arguments (not you, your arguments) are so stupid that I wouldn't use them to wipe my ass.  Being unaware of a single thing in the game doesn't dictate that I am not aware of the game.  By this logic you should be condemned for your vote on DAP.  After all, DO YOU NOT KNOW that he is town?  Maybe you do, you seem to not care either way.  The point being that it is ultimately irellevant if I have missed a few pages.  What I have seen in the 95% of the game I've read is enough to tell me who is and isn't scum just the same as everyone else is making decisions without having read pages that haven't been written yet.  It's less informed, not uninformed.

 

Also, I feel the need to include something important for everyone in a second paragraph.  My memory is foggy but didn't RTE follow Tommy on Cory?  If he did then this locks them as scum together since Tommy had only read 4/20 pages, the equivalent of 20% of the game.  Selective arguments are one of the biggest global scum-tells in existence and one that typically only comes into play in late game because of how intensive it is.

I don't think I've ever played with Corey before
But I appreciate the case on him and respect the three people voting him (all three don't tend to play very tight games)
However I really dislike RTes reveal and don't think his train will continue given the new momentum on Corey

Cory called it scummy.  Strange that Tommy could get hooked on all of this but didn't have a good thing to say about the previous posts.  Even if you think RTE is town (nope) it was fantastic early game hunting.  

 

It is too long to quote but here is a link to post 457 where Dap does a catchup.  We are clearly on the same wavelength and he makes a lot of good points about several people.  Specifically I like how much he is checking across the board for different things and he is recognizing play that he doesn't like but also doesn't think is scummy.  That isn't something mafia generally do.  

 

That is everything I liked about Dap up to page 25.  I should point out that on 25 laya calls him out for the competing trains post, the first to do so I think and the only point against him thus far that I could find.  IMO that doesn't nearly warrant a lynch and, as I said before, i won't be joining a lynch on someone I think town with a bunch of people I don't think town.

Your arguments are weak but sure, let's go with this.  LOGICAL EXTREMISM:

 

I now know Len was silenced but did not before since, as I said yesterday, I've missed quite a few pages between 30 and here.  I've been popping in since my WIM died and trying to get back into it so I have sporadic coverage of the past 12 pages or so.  Your other arguments (not you, your arguments) are so stupid that I wouldn't use them to wipe my ass.  Being unaware of a single thing in the game doesn't dictate that I am not aware of the game.  By this logic you should be condemned for your vote on DAP.  After all, DO YOU NOT KNOW that he is town?  Maybe you do, you seem to not care either way.  The point being that it is ultimately irellevant if I have missed a few pages.  What I have seen in the 95% of the game I've read is enough to tell me who is and isn't scum just the same as everyone else is making decisions without having read pages that haven't been written yet.  It's less informed, not uninformed.

 

Also, I feel the need to include something important for everyone in a second paragraph.  My memory is foggy but didn't RTE follow Tommy on Cory?  If he did then this locks them as scum together since Tommy had only read 4/20 pages, the equivalent of 20% of the game.  Selective arguments are one of the biggest global scum-tells in existence and one that typically only comes into play in late game because of how intensive it is.

Okay, I finally got the time to get caught up with this game.

 

So, now that Cory's been modkilled, I've got to find who's the next scummiest. RTE would've been my next option earlier. He's made few scummy posts since then, though, but Des is starting to look more and more scummy. (Yes, I know this sounds like a really bandwagony thing to say, but it's true.) His list doesn't make much sense to me since I think everyone on there is town but RTE. I have not decided who I'll vote for yet. I'll make a list soon of scummiest to least scummy.

 

Also, what exactly happened to Lenlo?

 

I think RTE is town, if that helps at all. His frustration post at Des was sooooo pure.
