Description

The Bio Checkers (BC) are people that have a good understanding of what a character biography should look like. They know the specific requirements for members of the White Tower at all levels, and have a good understanding of the way the Retro and Main Timelines mesh in the White Tower RP Groups, as well as the overall rules and conditions that must be met to approve a biography of any White Tower character. They will work with the member to make sure their bio is ok before posting the approved bio on the biography board at the PSW.

WT BC job description

I am looking for a highly active and dedicated person for this position who has (or is willing to acquire) a thorough knowledge of the various requirements for all cultures, and ranks coming to the in the White Tower. They must also be willing to do some record keeping and act as the White Tower’s welcome party.

The BC will have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the biography guidelines in order to be able to perform their duty to all White Tower members.

The main tasks of a White Tower Bio Checker are:

 

• Check the Bios email address on a daily basis
• Check quality of submitted bio and work with submitter to bring the bio up to standard
• Post Bio on the Biography Board for CC
• Send the Novice Test and OP Breakdown Info to the new member
• Inform the AGL of N&A or AS (accordingly to level of new Character) and the RGL of the new Member
• CC bios for other groups on the Bio Board on behalf of the WT
• Give input in White Tower RP Staff discussions and decisions

 

 

Important note: applicants must have (or must be willing to create) a White Tower character to rp with.

White Tower BC priviledges:

The BC is a Group Staff member and gains access to the White Tower Staff boards. They gain the authority to guard the quality of submitted bios. Often they are the first White Tower member to come in contact with new members, and as such determine how the Group is perceived and experienced by them from the start. They also gain access to the White Tower Wiki and email account.

A first selection will be done on the written application followed by an interview with those applicants that made it through the first selection.

Interviews will be held on skype, googlechat. Should neither of these be possible, another alternative will be looked for.
