Don't feel bad, Karana. I've been over-using imdb.com lately to get all of the names straight myself, and I watch the show every week.

Hmmm.... Bennett as Nathan Patrelli... an interesting theory. Maybe HE killed Asmodean!

It can only be Hiro who killed Asmodean. He can bend space and time ;)

So it does look like Peter and Claire are related.

I just watched this week's episode so I am little late to the party.

There is something up with the invisible man... is he really around to help Peter?

Sylar is back out in the world.. it must be annoying to always hear ticking in your head. How does he sleep?

He just....!!!

And then...!!!!

Oh my....!!!!

Bah! Everyone hurry up and watch this week's episode so I can type without spoiling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then.... !!

And I was like... ahhhh!!!

Go ahead and post. I avoid this thread until I catch up on the week myself.

So Petrolli was the father. Claire and Peter are related as we suspected.

Umm, Jessica is out again, but then again, I find I really don't care about her that much. I still don't entirely get what her power is.

Peter just became more awesome, as he can use any power he has ever come in contact with.

The invisible man knows HRG.

I thought the Hiro plotline this week was slow and really, who cares.

That necklace is going to be key somewhere down the line.

You forgot to mention that Peter Petrilli is the iPod of superheroes.

Actually it would be the Zune as he can download their powers and store them. Right now he is confused as Zune is a mircosoft product. Had he been an iPod his life would be so much different now.

But if he was a Zune, he'd be able to "squirt" powers at other people. I'm pretty sure network censors won't allow that.

I got lost somewhere in your ipod analogy.

Does that mean he can use all of Sylar's powers?

You mean besides having enough strength to tear apart a restraining device strong enough to hold 'an elephant' like it was a peice of paper?! :P

I thought Sylar only had one power - telekinesis - but that he can use that power to mimic the powers of others once he learns how they work. That's what I read on wiki anyway. :D

His power is "figuring out how things work". That's how he gets the new powers. At least, that's what I thought. Remember in the episode when Dr. Suresh was talking to Sylar about super powers and stuff, we saw the guy who knew telekinesis and he was killed by Sylar.

Why does Sylar have to make hand motions? Is that related to "making the power work"?

I know, I think Peter being able to bring out any power as needed makes him the total overpowered munchkin!!! But I love him.

And I was totally, totally shocked that Nathan was the father. I don't know why... I just was.

Sylar's first stolen power was telekinesis.

Really if what that guy paints come true, I expect we do see Peter blow up the city, but then Hiro gets his power back and indeed saves the day like he keeps saying.

Of course, all this will happen in like 3 years as the show moves quite slowly.

Ha. I actually just saw that episode last night (I taped the marathon last Wednesday on Sci Fi). I still haven't seen the first eight episodes, but I've seen everything from 9 onwards now. Now if only Sci Fi would do full day marathon or something that I could tape and catch up on the whole series...

But still, I think the idea is that Sylar doesn't actually have those other powers, he just mimicks them because he knows how they work, so if Peter absorbed any of his power when they met, it was only the ability to figure stuff out...

My question about Sylar is... He was after Claire to figure out how she regenerates herself, BUT, he fell off the building with Peter and WALKED away from it, no blood or anything on the ground... so he must already have something protecting him, right... Was there an explanation that I missed somewhere?

I don't know how he does that. He's been shot several times, and just walked away afterwards.

You can, as long as your internet connection is decent!

http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/episodes/

Every episode is there on the website, in order and everything. If your internet connection sucks too bad to watch streaming files, I also downloaded them on Ares. They might be on other P2P programs as well, I just haven't checked.

I KNEW Nathan Petrelli was Claire's dad! I called it the first time I saw the clip of his arm, lol. *feels all smart and stuff* :P

As for Sylar not being damaged, perhaps he can use the telekenesis to help him avoid harm when he knows it's coming? Clearly he is not invincible, since he WAS captured, and still is interested in Claire's power. But he does need some sort of explanation of why he has been able to get away without bodily damage on several occasions.

So, what did you all think of this week's episode?

Guest Segurant

I didn't like it as much. Plot has become very predictable in my opinion. I still love the show but I think much of the mystery faded from the show.

I think the show moves too slow. But I always thought that.

I like Sylar hanging out with Seresh though. That could be interesting.
