@role thieves: You should clarify how your role works before trying to accuse someone based on it. I'm pretty sure that if someone's using their tracker role at night, it can't be stolen from them.

 

@everyone: with multiple magistrates in the game, train speed should be picked up maybe? also I'm going down to the beach again, have a nice day

 

Let's assume for now that TBK is telling the truth. He says MUMMY visited multiple people. How is that even possible?

I see where the misunderstanding lies. By clarify I meant "clarify with the mod", in other words, make sure you understand how your role works first and accuse people based on that second. Especially because you wouldn't want to advertise your role or how it works to the other players.

I wouldn't have targeted Black Knight. I just woulda lynched him. I don't believe that claim for a second though. The all-or-nothing part of it would be way too hard to balance and is way too easy to claim. "HEY GUYS I HAD THIS SUPER PROTOWN ONE SHOT ROLE THAT ACTUALLY DOES NOTHING MOST OF THE TIME YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO TRUST ME LOLZ." Mummy gave us nothing to make us believe he is town. It's time to lynch him.

I've given this some thinking and that doesn't look game-breaking at all.

Tracker and Watcher are potentially very useful (for later analysis, if nothing better), but this game seems to have a lot of night actions, so there is a lot of noise on the information you're receiving. A 1-shot cop isn't bad either. It looks like a useful role (if MUMMY is telling the truth and it works), but not game-breaking.

Bold: He only told us his targets after The Black Knight had revealed them already. Not sure what would be so hard to fabricate here - he said he got nothing (2/3 chance). Not sure how this could be more convenient for him: his results can't be checked at all.

You make a good point. I really hadnt considered it tbh, the new names are still taking a bit to adjust to when I post thoughts without access to my notes.
