(BASIC): The Perfect Pizza Town wins

GG all. Def fell victim to gaming the mod lol. Although I was influenced by Cindy, who kept believing for so long that Peace was a vig as well that I started thinking he was a SK instead. Which is why I suggested trying to strongarm the win instead of playing it safe. So yeah, loss is on me.

 

As for my earlier play, everytime I'm mafia I always play like I'm going to die no matter what. So I try and link myself to as many townies as possible. When it looks like I'm def getting lynched, I try not to fight it too hard for a few reasons: 1. So that I dont undo any wifom I set up 2. So that people know that when I'm fighting my lynch hardest, I'm prob town (sad that to this day no one has picked up on that 3. Going off #2, that I can occasionally abuse my meta to fight a lynch hard enough that I fool people into thinking I'm town. Didn't end up doing that this game because I was off at the time, and busy, and my mafia morale was really low for a bit, after getting lynched for absolutely bs reasons in a diff game.

 

So that's why I "laid down" so to speak, but funny thing is I do that a lot as scum. Again, don't think many have picked up on that tho apparently.

This is just to address the bit regarding the mafia win condition that led them to believe in an SK. Scum had their win condition worded so that they would win when they equaled "the rest of the game". Not equaled town, but equaled the rest of the game. This is something that any mod using a third-party would probably say, although mafia would still have to eliminate the SK if there is one. Scum then took this to mean that there was indeed an SK along with the vig.

 

Except that I worded the win condition this way without any SK. This wasn't a slip on my part. This was deliberate. If I need to use that wording when I have an SK, then say scum has to equal TOWN when there isn't one, the wording of the win condition would give away to scum vital details of the setup. So therefore, I need to tell scum they have to equal the rest of the game all the time, whether I have an SK or not. The only slip I made was likely not saying they had to also get rid of any other threats there might be.

That bit at the end there - purely the folly of thinking you 'know' something when you don't. Cindy you were so off the radar most of the game, you somehow evaded the off-the-radar radar too.Very well done. Of course it didn't help me seeing confirmation of my thoughts everywhere I looked. *ahem*

 

Anyway fun game, well done Basel. Those triggers drove me quite certifiably insane. There did come a point there were I realised that with no tangible link between them, I could never use them for anything but suspicion. But it certainly kicked the game off
