I had this nice fancy post with humor and other stuff, and then DM ate it. Bad dog!!! So, since I am procrastinating doing work, I will try to remake it.

1. BSG - I admit, BSG lost me near the start... but then gripped me with the third episode!!! So good.

2. Heroes - Hiro is awesome but the show was a little over hyped... save the cheerleader got a little old.

3. Grey's Anatomy - I watch it to communicate with the opposite sex... and I might secretly love this show.

4. Scrubs - I just found this show and started watching it. Genius!!!

5. Dexter - I do not have Showtime, but I watched the first 3 episodes of this new show and love it. Now I want Showtime.

6. Weeds - Again, I want Showtime. Loved the first season and watched the second season at a friend's house.

7. Studio 60 - I love it because the dialogue reminds me of West Wing... oh Aaron Sorkin, how I love thee.

8. The Office - Dry humor and Dwight Schrute... need I say more.

9. 30 Rock - One word...errr..name... Alec Baldwin and funny...yeah.

10. The Sopranos - Yeah, it is not as good as the first season but I still liked it and will eat up the last 6 shows as well.

It is a reality show and I like to pretend they do not exist. That way maybe they go away.

With that said... I didn't vote for it because Flavor picked the wrong girl. New York was the woman for him!!!

Since we only get those 2 channels I've mentioned before, my TV viewing has been limited to renting DVDs from Netflix, catching pirated episodes on YouTube, and whatever happens to show up on Channel Random. But I still managed to come up with some sort of list...

1. Scrubs -- Still the best damn show on TV right now, hands down. And that's not just because I have a man-crush on Zach Braff.

Ummm...pretend you didn't see that last part...

2. Heroes -- One of the few shows that we were able to "plan" on watching, since it looks like the guy in the control booth in Anchorage likes this show, too. But I agree with Empy, they hyped the whole "Save the cheerleader" thing WAAAAAYYYY too much. Fornately, I only saw commercials for it ten minutes before each episode, so it wasn't as grating as it could have been.

3. The X-Files -- Ok, maybe this one doesn't count, but I must add it. We've started re-watching all of the episodes in order through Netflix. We're on season 5 now. There simply has never been, and sadly never will be, another show that compares to this one...although Firefly comes pretty damn close.

4. The Daily Show -- I watch it at Comedycentral.com every week. Jon Stewart is the only legitimate journalist on TV.

4. The Amazing Race -- I caught season 10 on YouTube. This is the only reality show I will ever watch. I've loved the premise from the first season and have caught all of them (or snippets of all of them) except for the "family" season which sucked. This season I thought was particularly good.

Ummmm...here's where my list kind of falls apart. The only other shows we ever watched on the tube were Deal or No Deal (only cuz we were waiting for Heroes to start...but this show is damn addictive, I'm embarassed to say), and America's Funniest Home Videos (only because is seems this is the ONLY show WGN ever airs...it's on every single time we turn on that channel).

So, anyway, there's my abbreviated list.

I agree with Paityr, Daily Show is one of best shows on there. I hardly catch it because it is after my bed time (what, I am old...) but I like to catch the reruns.

I LOVED the xfiles growing up. I mean it wasn't like I was going out on dates in high school so my Friday nights were free. I got lost though around the last two seasons when Mulder disappear and admit... I do not know how the series ended.

Cancer Man got buried alive in some random cave in Arizona. Or he burned to death...can't really remember. Mulder came back, though, for the last couple episodes, I think.

Yeah, I'll admit that the show went to sh*t after Mulder left, too. I'd say seasons 4-6 were the top. It was the peak of the mythology timeline, Mulder was still looking for the truth about his sister, and the comic relief they'd write in during the stand alone episodes was classic.

The show jumped the shark when Duchovney left to begin his "lucrative" and "incredibly successful" film career.

Yeah, I never liked Doggett. Or the lady they got to replace Scully when Gillian (mmmmmm...Gillian Scully... *drools*) left the show.

And I found this rumor on the internets, so it must be true:

Gillian Anderson claims she has no intention of reprising her role as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully for another X-Files movie. In fact, when asked if she would consider a reunion with former co-star David Duchovney, her response was “God no.” This is a change from two years ago, when the project was reported to be in the works. Not sure what changed here, but it seems that - for at least the time being - X-Files fans are going to have to stick with DVD for their fix.

Sad. Very, very sad. <img>

Right, because he career really soared after leaving X-files. I think if David and her reuinited for another film, it might recharge their celebritdum.

She was in my top 5 when I was younger....

In response... you are right Maj, Lost should be up there instead of 30 rock. I have only seen one or two episodes of 30 rock but watched EVERY lost episode.

I watched the entire first season of Dexter and must say this moves up on my list. A Showtime subscription will soon be in my future.

Stargate? No, not a top show. SG-1 used to be one of my favorites but it lost me around the time Jackson died. It uses the same tired old plot and plus, MacGuever left. Atlantis never gripped me enough to continue watching it.

Kivam - I never watched Friday Night Lights but have heard good things about it. It seemed like a teenager type show to me.

Give it a run - it's not a teenage type show at all. The writing and acting are top notch, and the themes are intelligent.

1. Doctor Who

2. Supernatural

The above two shows are the only ones on tv that I have seen every episode of and watch religously.

The rest are shows I cought a couple of episodes of and thought deserved mention, since my list was so short.

3. How I met your Mother

4. The Dog Whisperer

5. Criminal Minds

6. Two and Half Men

7. The Unit
