You voted me for me saying I'm a bastard, which could have been me saying that I legitimately think I am a bastard. (Ironically as I don't think my biological parents were married it doesn't matter bcus it's true on multiple levels) but yes it was a hint to Jon Snow the most notable bastard in the series.

I think the three we were all thinking of were Snow, Gendry, and Ramsay (thanks got wiki) Bolton

*heads off to wiki to remember who Ramsay Bolton is*

I did mean to unvote btw

I already explained that my vote was a policy lynch vote EP. Character and role hinting is stupid.

Regardless, you are pinging btw, but you seem to think that's a point of pride. Whatever.

Vote Razen for the thing I talked about in my first wot

Why role claim or hint so early? Why? I think it's bad for town. It's seemed that way in the games I've been in so far, anyway. Maybe confirmed townies aren't always all good, either, I don't know?

I didn't roll claim I character claimed and affiliation claimed. Big difference.

Really? I'd say Jeoffrey's bastardness is more prodominant as the series continues. I always remember Snow is one, but Joeffrey's bastard heritage keeps being brought into the limelight

Jeoffry isn't a bastard, he is just a product of incest.

Confirmed townies are normally great for town, especially in late game.

A cop shouldn't reveal townies he/she has confirmed tho, unless the doc has revealed or something else has lead the cop to believe they may die, since mafia wants to kill off confirmed townies asap so that town gets less information.

But yes, hinting is bad for town, early or not.

I voted you for the character hinting. Claim or don't claim, there is no hinting. Hinting=scummy.

bastard=son of two people who are not married

last I checked, the Lannister twins aren't married.

Hence==>baugette

Jeoffrey's bastardness isn't really publicly acknowledged tho

Mod: How much of the series should we expect this to cover? Just book one, just what the show has covered, all of the books, or what?

6. Respond to your role PM with any questions. You may get a PAFO, but ask anyway.

I'm a cheeky bugger

Oh and that is NOT a hint of any kind. Just the truth.

I did both, but I figured that's knowledge that should be mod confirmed, imho

But the reader knows it. That's like saying Fain isn't a DF because most of the people who know him don't know he's a DF.

That's different, characters KNOW Jeoffry isn't Baratheon's son. Alot of the important ones do in fact. However, it is not shared with the general public as truth.

Erm, that's pretty much the same deal as with Fain. Main characters know he's evil. But it's no general public knowledge. Heck, I don't think Tam even knows Fain is a DF.

You're bs "policy lynch vote" just because "hinted at a character" especially since the 2 ppl most known for the status of the hint are what could be considered "good guys" in the cannon.

Posted

Whether or not you were hinting at a good character or not, it was still hinting.

Hinting is bad for the town, as are soft claims, breadcrumbs, or any other type of BS like that. The only purpose they serve is to let someone try to get pressure off of them without giving a definitive statement that can be LD'ed.

And did you notice how that policy vote led to you giving a full claim, instead of hiding behind a soft claim? I'd say the vote did it's job. It wasn't BS, your hinting in the first place was BS.

Posted

considering it could have just been me being me and not hinting makes the logic behind it null in void. You assumed it to be a hint, until I confirmed it was a hint your vote was a scummy reaction.
