Something needs to be done!

Our off site boards are in horrible condition. Spammers are making accounts and posting adds and spam on our boards and I am sick of it!

 

What we need are official moderators and admins for the boards to delete and remove spam and destroy spammer accounts. Furthermore, as a division we need to use those boards more effectively and report new spam accounts as they post.

 

Something needs to be done and it needs to be done now! ok... maybe "now" is asking a bit much... but it shouldn't take more than a week or two maybe...

i don't think we do. I also think we are probably the most inactive lot of the bunch. :P

 

(I think this may be what we would need to work on more?)

 

Or we can just make new boards.... smaller ones..

I tried cleaning the spam once, I did not do much of a job though

 

*EDIT* Well Arie and I went on a rampage, and thanks to her knowledge and expirience we managed to clean the boards. Thank you, my love, your help was invaluable!!!

easies way to truly keep em clean as there is few members is set boards to only allow registrered users and make it so adm has to allow acount activation

 

then have a tread on here for peoples to sign up on with what handle they used to sign up

 

hence no posting from non registrered and no posting from false registrations as they wont get activated

*chuckle* i made our lovely DL set me as Admin and i already fixed that and changed those settings, so that shoul dhelp keep it clean now that we have taken the time to clean up all the spam..
