    • No! If he didn't write it, than he would have spent more time on the series. Brandon would only have two books to finish.

    • Yes! He wouldn't have finished the series anyway, so writing NS gave us an extra novel. The more WoT the better!

I'm very glad. It fleshes out my two favorite characters, Moiraine and Siuan, which was needed. Those who skip NS are really missing out. Of the all rumored prequels and outriggers, NS is clearly the most important one for providing context for the main series.
