Are there any pro wrestling fans out there? It's that time again this

year for the annual Smackdown vs. RAW video game and 4 hours of

sports entertainment. I've been a fan since way back in the day when

it was still cool and relevent. I do miss the good old days of World

Class (of Texas) and the NWA. Any thoughts on it?

Yeah im a fan but most of the people i like are on smackdown, my faveorite is definitely the Undertaker and not just becuse he has never lost in Wrestlmania but because his attitude is just so. I also like Kane and The Big show. For my Raw advocates i like The rated R superstar. I dont like the fact that (i forgot his name but not his phrase "IM awesome")this person is winning and i cant belive that he won against Cena. I still remember when he was a noob and lost every round, he sucked but now hes hetting himself some serious rep, so thats my opinoin.

STONE COLD Steve Austin.

 

The Undertaker is definitely old school and his streak is one of the

greatest things EVER! Triple H will be trying to end it this year

in the Georgia Dome.

 

My all-time favs are Ric Flair, Terry Funk, and Rowdy Roddy Piper.

They were some of the BEST one-liners in the history of the business.

 

"Don't throw rocks at a guy holding a machine gun" -Roddy Piper.

 

WrestleMania is like the Superbowl of wrestling and we're having a

big watch party here.

Used to like it but once you've seen all the storylines, stables and their remakes. What else is there?

 

The Wrestlers of course. But when the McMahon family on pushes the slow poke Giants instead of the smaller, technical guys it's not worth watching. That said I really like the Big Show.

 

I'm disappointed they didn't do more with Kozlov - they've got him tag teaming with someone atm don't they?

 

I discovered the original Nexus on the day they broke up (with that English fella whatever his name is - I took a shine to him and his role has been downhill ever since)

 

From what little I saw of him on whatever show he got shipped to - Raw I think - the new Nexus-like stable wasn't bad either. I forget what it is called.

 

I'm disappointed that CM Punk is still around - big talk in the wrestling communities how he's pure wrestling - no drugs, etc but hate to say it he's boring.

 

I was happy the other night catching the WWE experience and saw Christian and Edge back together. Been a fan of Edge for a long time - not too sure of his gimmick but he's had it a fair while now. Last I heard though Christian was in TNA so a little confused by that.

 

And I saw Austin was back in the ring too?? Didn't he retire because of his bad knees and neck. What is he doing back?!

 

Speaking of Austin, was it his match with the Rock at WM a few years back the fans didn't like? Because they all knew the Rock was leaving. If I've got the correct match, the fans are wrong, it was still a decent match to watch.

 

Anyway what's the line up for WM?

Haha! I think the match in question was where Austin was the Special

Guest Referee and the fans were booing Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg.

Lesnar was leaving for tryouts with the Minnesota Vikings (which he

didn't make) and Goldberg was just leaving. You gotta love that MSG

crowd. They'll let you know how they feel about you.

Austin is back hosting Tough Enough now so that's probably why.

 

I do think that Koslov could have been good. I remember back in the

day when Nikita Koloff or The Iron Sheik would totally get the USA

chants started. Fritz Von Erich made a name for himself playing up

the "foreign enemy" thing too. The villains are the best and get to

have the most fun.

 

Wade Barrett is the English guy I believe and now he's on Smackdown

in The Corre. It's supposed to be something like the original group.

 

The only thing I like about Punk is his facial expressions. Oh, and

The Miz is the guy with the "I'm awesome!" saying. When he won they

scanned the crowd and there was this little girl making a priceless

face. She so hated him! He's alright but a little undersized to be

champion IMO. He's making money though so *shrugs* he's doing

something right. It was cool to see Edge and Christian team up again.

Their TLC matches were excellent and they actually had good tag team

wrestling back then but not anymore.

That's the one Goldberg/Lesnar with Austin special ref.

It's long over. Forget the fact everyone knew Lesnar I believe it was now was leaving and watch the match again

It's a decent match.

 

Yeah well I don't give a stuff about the Miz.

 

Besides the work by the Cruiserweights (usually in WCW)& the early days of Christian & Edge WWF (including the showmanship) was some of the best modern technical wrestling I've seen.

 

And yeah Wade Barrett was the one. So now I need to know which Stable is better? The New Nexus or The Core?

In your opinion anyway.
