Or is there a third candidate for scum people are willing to support voting for?

(I would put forward Csarmi, but several people have said they're unwilling to vote for him.)

CS I have only played one game here fully (Looney Tunes) and had to back out of another due to an LoA on the second day.

I'll put my vote on either of those two, unless someone brings forward a good case against another person.

Okay, here's the deal.

If day ends this afternoon (which I certainly doubt), we don't even have a choice anymore. Why? Because Deadly told us he can only get online close to midnight (Texas time, that is). It would be after the deadline. As it is kind of hard to count on the Maffia to lynch themselves, we wouldn't have much choice.

Even if the game ends in 30 hours (and not 6), Deadly is a solid choice. Deadly, don't get me wrong, but I don't fancy playing playing with someone who has to sneak to a computer to do so AND with someone who can login at most once a day.

Also, he DID change his playstyle when upgrading to Deadly 2.0. Much more active, playing the fence (hate that) and keep casting doubt about my claim (subtly).

Until, of course, his comp was taken away.

Okay, first off I feel very flattered at being called experienced... I haven't even ever finished a mafia game. But onto the more important matters.

I apologise in advance if my post don't make sense. I hate using my phone but my pcs internet is kaputt.

okay so my first point is.. The cop isn't really helping the town at all. If we look at it, he hasn't. Sure he can claim that he doesn't want to reveal innocents, but it doesn't matter if he does. The mafia knows who's innocent and as its a basic game, we won't have a second group of bad guys. What will it hurt for us to know who the confirmed innocents are? The only possible damage it could cause is to blow cs' cover.

Also, Cs is protecting Deadly, or atleast pointing out flaws in theories against him. And deadly advised Cs -which'd be stupid to do in a post if they were mafia and had a qt- so it speaks for and against them.

Arlow is ringing my bells.

While I might not be posting often due to Uni and other work, I do take the time to put all my thoughts in my posts when I get a chance to post (which someone did point out, I think), so why does he not do it? Mottlee, as far as u have seen also posts with substance.

Arlow and Tan have really not been contributing to the hunt after scum, which imo is suspicious.

True, we could take the same argument for cs, that he's simply too over-eager and so might be hiding different motives. But as Phelix -i think it was- said, most of you are hesitant to vote for him.

So, I'm placing a slightly hesitant vote on [fill=red]ARLOW[/fill] for now. (not sure if thats the right glow code)

oops I missed reading through the last post. damn phone.

Additions...

first deadly and cs seem to cooperate, then someone pointed it out and now cs is determined to lead a lynch on deadly.

Then, why is the fourth vote the decisive one, when we needed 6 to lynch, had 2 on Tan (I think) and had 5 people that could still vote?

Also, why did you smack the hammer on Tinas lynching when we still had 3.5h to go and people hadn't checked in. would it have killed you to wait for further in put?

The only problem with Cs being scum is that he's uncontested. One would think the mafia -if cs is town- might risk claiming cop too, just to sow confusion, but cs is doing the mafias job for himself. He seems suspicious to us, but then again we might consider that mafia is pointing out the flaws in all his posts etc to their best ability and so are sowing confusion.

I personally still find Cs scummy as little else.

Oh and just cause I messed up before. ARLOW

That 4th vote was decisive, because Tanaus haven't voted yet and would surely pick Tina. Which means L-1.

When I put the 6th vote on Tina, there was already no way to turn back. At least it ensured that we had no random lynch again (which is a shame to have happened day 1).

Yea I know we had 3 hours, but I felt there was a danger of a scum 'changing his mind' and us ending up with no lynch at all.

I'm in no way adamant in killing Deadly (as you can see, I haven't votedf/b] for him), but I think he's a better candidate than anyone. Mostly because of being able to login only once a day.

In any case, I start losing hope and interest in this game. I mean, come one, it's stalled. People have lost interest or I dunno. Nothing happening for like 70 hours. I start looking forward to it ending, with any result. I'm on the verge of stpping to mind whether we win or lose and I really hate losing.

CS the week end is allways a quiet time around here whether it's in a mafia game or in the social groups. alot of people post from work or school during the week and have the weekends to catch up on stuff in RL. i know it's frustrating cause for me it's usually the opposite i have more free time on weekends. as for who to vote for your still the most scummy person here CS everything you say just confuses me , you go from one point of view to the complete opposite within one or two post. but your still the uncontested cop and we have been over that enough so not going to go there again. as for everyone else well arlow is looking kinda scummy to me what with him posting a reasonable number for the first day phase then hardly any since.i know he said something about a exam or something and since being callled out he has posted a couple of post. but i don't know it just feels not right. that is my gut telling me i haven't got a case against him so i wont vote just yet. if someone can build a solid case against anyone please do we really need to get scum today.

does anyone know when deadline is.

Well, we have 20h left still. If several people agrees, I'll reveal my findings tomorrow morning (CET morning, that is, so in 12-15 hours). I'll login in about 4 more hours, then go to sleep.

CS, I think it would've been clear to the mafia that she was innocent, seeing as how they know who is mafia and all  So there wouldn't have been a risk of them changing their mind to get a random vote, because that would endanger them as well.

I think that revealing your findings is a smart idea. Also, I won't be able to get online for about 7 hours from now, because I don't think I have an IT class today, so it'll have to wait until I get home, just so everyone knows.

Crud... that post by Tanaus was actually by me =/

Sorry bout that, that's what I get for using his computer.

OK, I'm seeing Tynaal has put a vote in for Arlow... and that's it so far, right?

As far as Csarmi revealing what he knows... he has flat out said he hasn't found any scum, so all he would be doing is telling who is a villager... which is knowledge he could have simply by being scum himself, as pointed out above when discussing if the Mafia knew Tina was innocent. Go ahead and share the info you want to, Csarmi, but I want everyone to know it doesn't prove anything.

Hell, he could simply tell us that he's viewed two players and they're village, when in reality those players are the other two scum.

Until, and if, the Finder actually finds a scum and it is verified by a lynch, then there's nothing confirming the Finder at all.

Posted

I think revealing is only good in desperation. We might be that desperate, actually.

Phelix, it might just not matter anymore whether the Maffia gets to shoot at confirmed townies, As things stand now, a bad step and we're all dead. :-(

Posted

Csarmi,

The Mafia gets to shoot at Townies every night. You "revealing" anyone as a confirmed townie does nothing as far as the mafia is concerned, and doesn't do much for us town folk either.

As for desperation... you are the person who "revealed" on Day One. It rings a bit false for you to talk about desperation now.

Go ahead, reveal who you're claiming is Town. We'll have to debate it all anyway.

Posted

Of course if he is scum then the information doesn't do much good...

but if he is the cop then his information can narrow down the list. Listing his findings won't do any ill, but perhaps we can find a way to make it useful.

Posted

now we could go for a gamble..lynch one of those and see whether cs truly is cop, but if he is and they are innocent we might just have lost ourselves the game.

So according to you. Cs, Mottlee. Reyn. Tanaus. Deadly or myself might be scum.

Posted

Yup, that's correct.

Tynaal, I'm really interested. Who do YOU think are innocent? Who do YOU think are scum? What is your view on this?
