Jain Farstrider and Compulsion

So, Ishy used Compulsion on Jain Farstrider (Noal) in the Blight... to what end? I never understood this. He gave warning to some Ogier about the Eye of the World, didn't he? Why in the name of the Light would Ishy make Jain tell the good guys about his dastardly plans? Can someone please clarify what Ishy compulsed Noal to do?

I do not think it's coincidence we see the instructions Ishamael planted in Bors resurface in the same book Noal is introduced in. There would be many advantages to having a man known for traveling to all corners of Randland who could fill certain roles if certain conditions were met.

Major let down was the Noal ending. He was keeping tabs on Mat for Moridin I reckon or somethimg to do with the Gholam. He showed up when it did maybe they were working in tandem.
