aww ok, I was wondering how it would have worked in the AoL on people who couldn't channel.

 

It wasn't. For non-channelers they used something called a 'binding chair'.

Wait. What if binding the nine moons to him simply means Tuon bearing Mat's child, someone who's loyal to both of them, who would be more amenable than Tuon to seeking Peace with the Dragon? Or what if she ends up leashed, or is successfully subjected to his ta'veren attribute now that his mind is more level-headed?
